Possible to change the background colour in Photoshop?

As the title says: Is it possible to change the background colour in Photoshop? And by that I mean the background in the actual program, not in an image. It's getting really dull with just this basic grey background all the time and it's been bothering me for quite some time.. So, does anyone know if it's even possible, and if so, how?

havnt tried it myself as of yet (just restored my computer)

1. Make sure you have an image open.
2. Choose the Paint Bucket Tool
3. Choose a Foreground Colour of your taste
4. Hold down Shift while clicking in the space surrounding the image.
5. It should change colour

Uh...read his post again.

I think the best bet would be to use something like Windowblinds or something that can alter the appearance of XP.

He's not talking about that empty space, he's talking about the real background of the program, not of the image.

well thats what it changes. Try it yourself

Tried it but it didn't work. I wasn't able to click outside of the workspace..
How about a screenshot?

It doesn't, it changes the image window's background color. Now this got me irritated as well, I didn't mind before. Damn you!

maybe open up a "dummie" image, a wallpaper or background color you want and just place it behind the texture your working on

That only works for the image when it's maximized.
