so just last month i tried bunjie jumping off a bridge. then the month before that i rode the world's biggest and longest roller coaster. now after years of psychological skidiving, i am well planning to do it. of course i have to shell out and save a lot of dough for it. am i having a rush of adrenaline? is the thrill gotten in to me that even though these stuff are pretty dangerous yet exhilarating that i must try more daring stunts. now i understand what other "dumb" people felt of doing extreme sports.
how about you guys? what have you (or you planning still to do) done that you consider extreme?

What are you planning to do?

I did base jumping in Colorado.
I want to do some skydiving, and I would love to climb a mountain too.

Reminds me of my RA training, where we climbed this 40 or 50 feet pole and had to jump off, not as scary as basejumping or whatnot, but definatly when i was up on top of the beam ready to jump off my legs were shaking. I actually have videos that my friends took, showed how scared I was...
Just thinking about it is tough enough.

The title makes this thread look emo.

I guess I'm just a boring guy. The most extreme thing I do on a daily basis is drive a car.

I'm scared of heights and I did go skydiving.
That was a once in a lifetime experience, and funny thing is, I'll never do it again. Shortly after that experience (my jump was filmed from the airplane), I was watching the news and they showed a similar kind of footage where my parachute opened after jumping except the news showed people jumping off and their parachutes didn't open and they fell to their deaths.

This thread name makes you look like you are about to commit suicide.
But, if you are one of those people who loe dangerous things, try sky diving, or go on Superman a couple of tmes (looks scary as hell). I am talking about the Superman in Sixflags in Buffalo (I think).

I'm scared of heights
Same here, I even hate it when people I know are up high, because I get scared for them (if they are unsafe, like sitting on the edge of a high building). I could never do what Jing did, my worst fear in terms of heights is standing on something with very little room, up high, it moving, and it being windy with no way down. The climb up would be almost as bad as standing there. Its funny how I hate rockclimbing because of the height factor, but I enjoy abseiling...

in horsham, the most extreme thing you can do would be like steal a shopping trolley from coles or something, nothing exciting is around here but we have some pretty noice motorbike jumps around
Thu Oct 26, 2006 8:46 pm
wow some of you guys really did the skydiving thing or the superman

boy you must be proud to do that. i was chicken shit before i did bunjie jumping. but i still have fear for going to extreme heights, the same feeling someone would feel when he is face to face to a barrell of a loaded gun i guess. anyways i do fear for something bad happening if i push myself to extreme limits, i could get hurt you know

thus the title of the thread. i hope its not too emote

I think that's part of the reason why I tried it. I wanted to face my own fears so I went skydiving. I also have arachnophobia so I guess one of these days I'll try out Fear Factor and jump into a vat of spiders.

I went on Max Air at Cedar Point. It was awesome.
