Oh man, can't believe virtually me has been drafted by Jailblazers. I like that description Jing though, you nailed that one.
Now lets all hope I won't become off-court distraction caused by all bad influence.

 we made a lot of prospects slip quite far

Dont worry about it Quach. Btw you look like Bibby. And I'm really, really suprised you went that high. You were projected like 8-15

obviously other people grossly overrated themselves....I transferred my real life skills as a PF to the game, but dropped ratings like rebounding & other ones to make me more realistic as a SG....what are the overall ratings of each NLSC player?!?

great report on me jing
well i think that i have a chance to contribute to an imprvoing young chicago bulls squad that has a very decent chance of winning.

A bunch of you guys are under 200 pounds. You guys are going to get manhandelled by the bigger players in the legaue.
Thu Oct 12, 2006 11:01 am
What the hell was New Orleans thinking? Chris Paul, Me, and Sit are all PG's!! Hopefully they just took the highest rated players at the time of their picks so they can have some good bargaining chips. I don't see how the playing time can be split well 3 ways unless they play me at the 2. If not, atleast one of us will have to sit on the bench.
That's a horrible pun.

im actually ~240 dude, i dont know why you put me at 163......or how you continue to spell my name wrong "Jon Smith"
great job on the stories and everything man, should be a great dynasty

well I don't think you can possibly create a player in the game with my actual weight, so I upped myself in the height & weight department.
and "John Smith" was so original, I thought it was made up.

 I didnt even do ratings, just told Jing to max out my Stanima and make me good at speed and jump, basically to replicate my real life attributes.
Haha you got it right about the sleeping and drinking, dunno about Lazy
I just dont do things if they arent fun

Ahh i'll be on the Jailblazers.
Another bad ass on the team.
They needed a PG, so a good choice by them.
But don't know why they graded me a C for being picked.
I'll show em up though.

Although he is known to be lazy, sleepy, and drunk most of the times, Moore knows when to turn it on.

Nice draft coverage

I've always thought of myself as a defensive player (like a James Posey type), but I'm interested to see how this turns out.

I was disappointed with the grade ESPN gave me, but I'll prove my doubters wrong....I may not be fast, I may not be able to jump, but I've got fundamentals....surely they count for something

Hi Jing. I am enjoying this dynasty very much.

I will be following.

The Celtics put on their uniforms and walked out into the blinding light, across the court the New Orleans Hornets were already warming up. This matchup is a difficult first game for the Celtics. With 2 picks in the Top 15, the Hornets drafted 2 point guards to play behind potential all-star Chris Paul. The Celtics have a gem of their own, taking Rudy Gay with the 21st pick. There will be many UConn fans here since Gay only played college ball 2 hours away.
New Orleans took the early lead of 26-21, and proceeded to open a 49-37 lead headed into the locker rooms. Boston was able to lessen the deficit with outscoring the Hornets by 8, and it was 67-63 going into the last quarter.
New Orleans came out into the last quarter sluggish; they missed their first 8 shots of the quarter before Paul finally drove in for a layup. Things started going the Hornet’s way when Peja Stojakovic drove in for a dunk and collided with Boston guard Wally Szcerbiak; instead of getting called for the offensive foul, Szcerbiak picked up his 6th and was sent off. Without their deadly shooter Boston worked the ball inside and out until they found the open may for a short jumper or dunk. Gay made his name on several dunks, including one over rookie Patrick Willis. However Gay received his 5th foul with 5:47 left and was taken out for the rest of the game. Gerald Green came on as Gay’s replacement and immediately brought the crowd out of their seats with a beautiful dunk on Desmond Mason. In the ensuing minutes Tony Allen also postered Mason, forcing New Orleans to call a timeout and for Mason to regain his composure.
With less than a minute left, Paul managed to sink a three and bring the Hornets’ deficit to just 111-107. But they were not able to get any closer and ended the game with a loss: 114-109. Al Jefferson was named POTG with a 13 point, 8 rebound, and 6 block performance. The Hornets had 3 players with double-digit rebounding: Tyson Chandler, David West, and Peja.
