Discussion about NBA Live 2004.

I was thinking that there should be more attributes, like discussed somewhere, of layups etc.
I also thought there oughta be one called opposite hand which determines how well your player works with their opposite hand. Jkidd, GP, and Kobe would be able to make almost everything(not long jumpshots) where as others wouldnt. It also could affect dribbling when sometimes the player may end up losing it(but not often).

imo i think there is a hidden layup attribute cause some gaurds miss alot more layups than others

im sure its a combination of inside scoring and difficulty but iwould like a layup rating

and more attributes lie the clutch attribute!

Hidden attributes, such as dunkpack and the one thats scoring style are visible in the .dbf files so I can say there isn't one. Inside scoring determines lay-ups I believe though.

a rating for streak shooters would be helpful. i'm always the sixers, for the first few franchises anyways, and while i love playing with iverson, he doesn't streak anywhere near real life. something like the level of fatigue affecting the accuracy of the shot maybe. also derek fisher by live standards should win the three point shootout every year. when i play the lakers, not only does he not miss much, but he will come down almost every series and shoot a three and never set up the offense or throw it in to shaq. maybe there should be some kind of rating that also determine's when certain players take shots, not just how frequent they shoot.

I guess it could be like the clutch attribute because when I play AI he shoots almost all of the shots and runs nothing but iso.
I would understand maybe in the final minute or 2.

how about clutch offense and defense? a rating for both so that certain players make clutch defensive plays and offensive plays. Ex: '98 finals jordan stole the ball from karl malone and then hit the game winner thats definetly clutch offense and defense.
