Fantasy Hockey League

With all these other leagues, I figured one more can't hurt. Anyone up for a fanstasy hockey league (via yahoo)? It would be for free, with whatever settings you guys want. The last day for Live Drafts is the 27th of October, so we have lots of time.

Okay, I'll create the league as soon as I get some input. Head-to-Head style or Points style? Are there any stats you guys want to be included? I don't know what our choices are, though. Is there any draft time that isn't good, or do we want to Autodraft?

And yeh since I'm new to this kinda of stuff,someone will probably have to tell the basics of fantasy leagues .

Cool. Basically there's a fantasy draft (same as a fantasy draft in Live) and everyone picks their players. Then you can either go Head-to-Head each week against one other team and try to win more categories than your opponent, or we do a Points league where everyone tries to get the most points by the end of the year in each category.

You'll need to register with Yahoo! Fantasy Sports first, then join the league (which I'll make soon). I've never done fantasy hockey with Yahoo! before, so I'm not sure what the categories are, but I would think it's like Goals, Assists, PIM, Wins, Saves, Shutouts (?), GAA, etc.

Here's the league settings. I increased the number of players per team because we don't have that many teams. I can also change which stats we play for. If there are any settings you'd like changed, just ask and we'll decide. I'll PM the league name and password to everyone.

I would join, but that lockout two years ago made me lose some interest in hockey, making me totally lost as to who is now considered good or who is crap.

EDIT: How many of you are planning to be at the draft? I'd like to have it 1 hour earlier if we can, how does that sound?

Saturday October 14 @ 10 AM Eastern? That sounds ok to me. I'm about 85-90 % sure I'll be at the draft.
