I like Odom at SF still so I would lean towards a lineup of:

C:Kawme
PF:Walton/Radmonvic (I like Walton simply because of his hustle and the way he played in the playoffs)
SF:Odom
SG:KB24
PG:Smush

That way if you start Walton you have some good outside scoring coming off the bench for when Odom, Kobe and Smush are cold, or if you start Radman you have some really good hustle from Walton off the bench.

In either case I would usually have Odom marking the opposing teams PF and the other on the SF, although if its Radman you might want him on the PF is the SF is exceptionally quicker than him.

ive been kinda downplaying the walton at PF thing, since most traditional PFs are way stronger than he is (see: Kenny Thomas vs. Luke Walton in the Lakers @ Kings game where Odom screwed up like hell)..although you are right about his hustle..he might have been producing little in terms of scoring for me in 06, but he does all the little things...

i have been kinda uncomfortable playing with odom at SF in recent Live's because the way the game was programmed, most of the time SF's are usually reduced to perimeter players, and i dont want that out of odom, coz he has a somewhat inconsistent jumper in videogames (to me at least). however, i might give it a try if they really changed the way each team plays in 07.

thanks for your opinion (Y)

This would be my starting lineup if i was the gm of lakers

C: Kwame Brown
PF: Lamar Odom (can play on the big guys but isnt a big blocker)
SF: Vladamir Radmanovic (good shooter, great for a shooter like turkuglu)
SG:Kobe Bryant (just kobe)
PG: Smush Parker (u no his gotta be here)

Yeah man, use Odom and Kobe both in the backcourt, share playmaking duties... Im not a fan of Smush, I really think that he belongs as the Sixth man... not a starting PG.

Walton should start and Kwame too... choosing betwenn Mihm and Vlad to play the 4 or 5...

Depends on how u want the team to play tho...

if u need a smaller and quicker lineup, go with:

C: Kwame
PF: Vlad
SF: Odom
SG: Kobe
PG: Smush

if u need a bigger lineup that can play D, go with:

C: Mihm
PF: Kwame
SF: Walton
G: Odom
G: Kobe

I think Kwame Brown is the X-factor for the Lakers this season.
Starting lineup:
Kwame
Odom
Radmanovic
Bryant
Parker

This is the lineup I prefer at the start of the season.
But if I am going to play small,
I would put Mihm and center and Odom in SF.
I won't worry too much about Odom's shooting in Live 07 since from what I saw in the players.dpf, I think Odom has 7x on both of his field goal and 3-pt.
I think that is pretty decent.

hey, remember to develop Jordan Farmer!
If he is good may be you can use him as a starter!

Wow, 9 posts to start the thread...

Nice looking dynasty, hope Odom and Kwame step up this year, Smush also needs to have a good year and Kobe is, of course, the main man. :D

thanks! and i still find it amazing that 6 of the 8 teams in the West had 50 wins... and its so annoying that chicago snagged the home court advantage in the finals by ONE GAME

I see that Kobe lead in steals with only 1. something....does that mean it's a whole lot harder to get steals on 07? On my 06 season, which has the 98 rosters, Nick Van Exel, Kobe, and Eddie Jones are 1, 2, and 3 in the league in steals with like 4.5, 4.2, and 3.8.
