no it was ONE copy to be put on our 360 displays.

EDIT: I had a store meeting this morning (sunday) and I was able to play 2 full games. First I played as the Raptors to look at the new players... and no Garbajosa! :x but yeah the autosubs/autotimeouts started to get annoying because I was trying to keep Rasho out and Parker in, but every dead ball they would undo all my subs.
The second game I played as Philly, and I noticed that the dunk animations come from too far out. One play I tried to take a jump shot from the top of the key and I wound up with a dunk. What was really cool was the ability to do subs while playing the game (and they had players go from the bench to the scorer's table!)

this leads me to the question of animations....2k series is a lot better....do they get film & convert it to computer to get more realistic animations....or do they just have better motion capture than EA....I'm asking because live 07 apparently has real crap jumpshot styles for each player because of the way they did the motion capture....

Sun Sep 24, 2006 9:21 pm

wow great find guys, these are some sweet videos!

Sun Sep 24, 2006 9:24 pm

yeah I watched a vid on 2k's website and the designer or producer was saying how they studied tape on the actual players to get the animations perfect.

Mon Sep 25, 2006 1:41 pm

That really is amazing, maybe I need to get a 360  So these animations won't be on the PS2 version?

this is just whetting my appetite for the game :P it's already the number 1 360 bball title coming out & nothing will change that....

Thank You very much for the link my friend :)

There are so many camera views you can select to best fit your need :P
Players Fatigue over the season if used inproperly (that is realism NBA :P )
And you can view the plays that had occured in the 1st quarter even if your in the 4th quarter and SAVE the replays of those plays. I love 2k now while never buying a 2k game before! Now only if 2k could use Lives graphics then dammm  n

Imagine what NFL 2k could have done if EA was denied the exclusive license from NFL :?

To fix the auto subs just go to coach options in pause menu, and something like settings and change it to manual sub and manual time out

Operation Sports gives it 10 out of 10

http://reviews.operationsports.com/revi ... =nba2k7360

I’m going to make this really simple: this is the greatest basketball game I’ve ever played. This is also the greatest one year leap I’ve ever seen in a series. I wasn’t as crazy about NBA 2K6 as many of the fans and other reviewers were. I felt it was a decent but flawed game and it looked great when compared to the competition but average on its own. NBA 2K7, however, fixed almost every single flaw in last year’s game and add an unbelievable amount of animations and features. Due to this, I’m awarding this game my first ever 10 out of 10. Now before some of you go crazy and yell “How can you give this game a 10 out of 10 when you acknowledge it has flaws?!” understand what a 10 out of 10 really means. According to the Operation Sports ratings system a 10 out of 10 is a “A rare and singular achievement in sports gaming. A 'must-buy' for any serious gamer.” I cant think of a better way to describe NBA 2K7.

10 out of 10

Wow sure getting lots more love than from ign.

Just wondering did they fix create a player in 2k7? Didn't like in 2k6 how they only had a limited amount of faces and you couldn't change the positions of players in association.

I always thought I was one of the more firmly rooted NBA Live gamers but I'll be picking up a 360 and nba2k7 tomorrow hopefully. I've been forced to, I can't stay with current-gen garbage (all though Live looks good on current-gen) because I've played both Live and NBA2k6 on 360 and once I did that I had a hard time going back to PS2 and PC.

I'll probably check out Live too just to see if it's any good but I'm going with 2k7 this year. :|

Operation sports seems a little biased but im sure it is indeed better than live. I just checked out a few stores hoping they had it..but ah well...i'll have to buy it tommorow.

'Operation Sports' wrote:Here is a game that features more sliders than I’ve ever seen in a game but plays a fun and realistic game straight out of the box. For obsessive sim ballers like myself, there are not only user and CPU sliders but individual team sliders. If you think Phoenix isn’t looking to run the break enough, a couple clicks to the left will change that.

I thought this was cool, individual team sliders. Plus, it puts to rest the fear that 2k7 won't have enough sliders like 2k6 (from what I've heard, anyway, I didn't play 2k6).
I also read about the 30 different cameras, with many adjustable, and can't help think about Live's limited cameras every year.
Yeah, I'm definitely getting 2k7. It's a shame, I bought my 360 with the anticipation of Live, since current gen wouldn't be much different, yet I'm not buying Live at all, not even for pc. I figure I can still patch Live 07 (looks like same gfx formats are gonna be used) so why buy a game I won't play?
