Sav Rocca to go to NFL too?

Mon Jun 26, 2006 3:07 pm

I read an article in the paper yesterday saying that sav rocca might try an nfl career at the end of the season

its not a bad decision for him, considering hes struggling to get a senior game behind nathan thompson

heres a small article:

thoughts?

i think he's big enough, but waaaay to slow-sav can kick a goal and take a good grab in AFL, i wouldn't leave yet :o

to be a punter you dont have to be quick, you dont even have to run

its good cause sav rocca is suffereing bad in the afl and cant play. go to nfl and make some big bucks

Mon Jul 03, 2006 4:01 pm

the problem is sav cant get a game with thompson in career best form

The Kangaroos suck.

Mon Jul 03, 2006 10:04 pm

Mon Jul 03, 2006 10:14 pm

Fitzy apparently.

Mon Jul 03, 2006 10:39 pm

yeh but hes a weirdo

Atleast he'll get payed much better in America. I'm suprised NFL haven't looked to Australia's AFL players more often for punters.

yep
maybe dustin fletcher

Sun Jul 09, 2006 12:00 am

justin fletcher wouldnt be big enough would he?

Thu Aug 31, 2006 3:52 pm

scott lucas would be a better pick from the bombers. and you wouldnt need to be that big necessarily.

EDIT: Sorry, just noticed how old this thread was.

Well, i guess it's official now. Sorry for resurrecting this ancient thread twice now. But Saverio is going to Philadelphia, to punt for the Eagles. 748 career goals and 12th all-time. It never really struck me that he would have had so many. Very consistent goal scorer right through his career. All the best to him.
