Aw, that's too bad. It took the fun out the situation of him getting back at you by posting large instead of small

You're just jealous.

Being a subway taker, and coming off at the world trade center site train stop, i think i'll skip on this movie. All this damn terrorist threats, and one of my worst fears, being trapped in the subway on an attack is far too deep to see this.

I kinda agree with Jae here. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of all these "based on a true story" movies that are all inspirational and the like. (remember the story about the autistic towelboy that comes in and hits a few 3s?) 9 times out of 10 the events that happened in real life are too boring or uninteresting to make a 2+ hr movie about, so they have to add that "Hollywood Magic" to make it a halfway decent film.
Can't anyone WRITE a good story anymore?

You obviously misread or misunderstood my entire point.

I'm just messing you man, lol. I Think I'm going to try to do less text-based sarcasm from now on.

Does this mean you will eventually go to no-text based sarcasm? *crosses fingers*

It seems a little early, but its not like its actually hurting anyone so its alright with me.
But I wouldn't watch it because nick cage is a nutsack.

Umm... no. It was actually NLSC Owner Jae (or some other mod) who changed my font size. Good job on that. Good job.

It had the desired effect. Though you might want to tell Andrew that I'm the "owner" of this place now.

Why does everyone hate nick cage? He was in the rock! and that movie.... ruled.

He's been in 2-3 good movies in his entire career, and been absolute garbage in dozens of others. At least that's why I don't care for him. Past The Rock, 8mm, and Face/Off, he's been pretty lame in everything else...

I despise his acting style, and I read that he's one of the most arrogant guys to interview. Arrogance, especially from celebrities irks me.

Gone in 60 seconds wasnt too bad, Raising Arizona was really funny, and Honeymoon in Vegas was good, Matchstick Men was good, Moonstruck was awesome, and Nobody can tell me that Fast Times at Ridgemont high sucked.
Samuel L Jackson has made more crappy movies but nobody calls him a crappy actor.
Fri Aug 11, 2006 7:59 am
i have nothing against his acting, in fact I admit that he has been in quite a few good movies; more than most. of all his movies i liked leaving las vegas the best. Lord of war was also pretty good, and of course adaptation. hell, i even liked captain corelli's mandolin.
what I hate is his stupid puppy dog look. I'll still watch his movies if I know the premise is good, but make no mistake, that ugly mug is no draw.

Some of you might of seen it already but
Loose Change is a very interesting documentary on 9/11.
I'll probably see the WTC. United 93 looked kind of stupid to me.

United 93 showed the heroism of those passengers on board. It really isn't stupid and atleast the A&E film was made pretty well. They did a good job of not "Hollywoodizing" it and just told it how it was.
As for Loose Change, it's just a conspiracy theory that throws out baseless agruments that aren't based on fact, even though they want you to believe that it is fact. A lot of their information is wrong (the angle of the plane, the engine on the aircraft, etc). Don't listen to it. I forgot who it was but I heard it on the T.V. like last night or something but I wasn't watching it. It's a good quote though and it went something like this...
"Our biggest flaw is the stupidity of our people and the genius of our marketing." It's true.

Well... I'll be. My bad, I thought it was something completely different.

Even if the stuff it says isn't facts. It has to make you think, like the way the building's just collasped. Some of it just doesn't add up in my opinion.

It makes perfect sense to me.

Loose Change is definitely interesting but thats about it. The first time I saw it (I have to admit) I sort of bought into it that the US was behind it. Now I realize that I was stupid to think so because Loose Change just throws a bunch of completely unprovable bull shit at the viewer and unfortunately many people buy into it just because they don't know how to think for themselves. Just ask yourself, is our government really that fu**ed up that it would kill thousands of people and put our nation into shock just for money and power? I don't think so.
Sorry about getting off-topic

It makes perfect sense that a fire on several top floors caused the base of the structure's to also go down? I even remember when it happened watching it on TV and it seemed weird how the building came down but I didn't really know better.

I love it how you and the loser computer geeks who made the video have suddenly become demolition experts. I didn't realize you had such an expertise in commerical jets being flown into skyscrappers.
People who think the government would be able to pull off something this large of scale in today's world are living in denial. Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda have taken responsiblity for it and we have terrorists captured who say they were part of the plot on that day. Unless the government plans on having this 9/11 conspiracy theory thing go over for years and years and years that is impossible. You would have to pay off the firefighters, police officers, airlines and thousands of other people to be able to do something like that. I know for a fact firefighters and police officers would have NOTHING to do anything like that.
Just face it...your stupid conspiracy theory is a great way to blame President Bush for one more thing.

Wiot Wiot Wiot...you underestimate the power of the government. You don't think the US could fake all the Osama tapes? If they wanted to, they could. Also, if you watch the video, there are witnesses who say they heard more than one explosion. The government wouldn't need to pay anybody off...after seeing all the death and destruction of that day, few people would come out and express doubts for fear of being labelled unpatriotic.
I'm just saying it's plausible...
