Thanks for your comments! I just wanted to be sure that there are still people reading my dynasty! Yeah i know this category is dying with the NBA Live 07 releasing day approaching (I'm looking forward too :) ).

@Jing: yeah I use the face that you can create in the "Create a player" section. Unfortunately I don't have experience with cyberfaces :(

@hova-: I have a lot of fun with my dynasty! I want to play at least one season to see how far can I go with the Lakers

@Its_asdf: yeah definitely I will continue my dynasty (Y) probably I'll make some changes to make my dynasty more "readable" but after the ASW

Arg, you killed the Raptors. :?

Your scores are always quite high, but thats probably due to the fact that Kobe scores like 45 a game.

Tue Aug 08, 2006 8:59 pm

Good update, some losses, but that happens.

Good to see Kobe at least in the ASG, since he had never gotten any award this season.

Looking forward to your ASG coverage.

Tue Aug 08, 2006 11:34 pm

@Its_asdf: Well I didn't quite kill the Raptors :) Bosh made the game very hard. And yeah of course if I didn't have Kobe probably I wouldn't have won any game with this team

@hova-: Thanks (Y) . Yeah Kobe deserves his spot in the West starters for sure but I would have wanted to see sb else in the Dunk Contest like Travis or Blink but the game choose Kobe (I just hope that in the 07 the Dunk Contest will be for players with max 3 years in the league like in the real life)

Ok before the ASW coverage here's some half season reports! Enjoy

Sophomores ease to victory!

The first day of the 55th All Star Weekend held in Houston, Texas was a big success. The rookies and the sophomores met in what seemed to be a game of honor and pride. The sophomores wanted to show the world that they are experienced enough to control the game whereas the rookie wanted to prove that they are more talented than the previous generation and they are capable of winning. But like in the last year the experience was dominant over the passion. The sophomores dominated the game from one end till the other and took the win 125 – 110.

The game started in a spectacular way. Chris Paul fed big man Johan Petro (who had a big night with 24 points; 11 boards and 2 blocks) for a spectacular alley-oop on a fast break. After that he also managed to score with all the opposition of big man Nenad Krstic. “Tough game for us! We just couldn't stop them. They show that experience is a big factor in this game." said rookie Chris Paul who ended the game fouled out with 22 points; 2 boards; 10 assists and 2 steals.

The 2nd quarter was a total blowout for the Rookies. After a more close 1st quarter, the sophomores came out strong and demolished their opponents. Josh Smith and Andre Iguodala started the quarter with a bang dunking and scoring from all position. "Josh Smith was just scary! We all know that he can dunk but we didn't know that he can deliver those mid-range shots so well!" said Charlie Villanueva about the Game MVP (19 pts; 8 rebounds; 4 assists and 2 steals). The quarter ended with a red hot Ben Gordon who was a standout from the 3 pt line (5-7).

The half restored the confidence of the rookies and they came up determined to cut de deficit. Marvin Williams sounded the wake-up call and hit a 3 in front of Josh Smith. He had 9 points; 7 rebounds; 3 assists and 2 steals. Also Julius Hodge was a big factor in narrowing the gap scoring 7 of his 11 points in the 3rd quarter. "We still have to improve but there is time! The sophomores knew how to play with us!" said Hodge.

The sophomores forced more in the 4th quarter led by big man Dwight Howard. With his scoring and rebounding (23 points and 7 boards) he helped his team restore the double-digit lead and finish the game in style. "I just did my part and helped my team get the victory. Everybody played well today. Now I'm ready for the All Star Game on Sunday" said Howard.
