Another thing worth noticing: during my Cavs franchise, it was much harder to win playing on my court than on the road... I was like 6-6 at home... while I went like 7-3 on the road... Strange. (N)

Hmm...for me it makes no difference, on road or at home. But against little teams Memphis it is more difficult for me than against the big teams. The most easiest teams for me to play are teams that are not too good and not toe bad, like e.g. T-Wolves or Jazz.

just want to respond to what Andrew said b4, and others that 4 great players are in real live, in NBA LIVE u can have 12 supertars and they wont argue over anything, in NBA if u get 4 superstars u know something will happen, that y ur team should be balanced.

I mean even Clevland is a superstar team oc D-Mile can run like a guard and dunk on everyone so can Riky Davis and Z is 7'3 with Mid range shot so ir Wangner.

Just to say something, but it could be possible for the nuggets to win from the lakers  , irl my guess the lakers wont be that motivated against a team like the nuggets and think it will be a piece of cake, and with that attitude they could lose, but most chances are they will crush them :) , but u never know(didn't LA lose to a cuple of mediocre teams last season?)

Of course... Nenê all the way, (Y)

Leandrinho Barbosa could play a big role in this year's Suns... I think he can be a member of the All-Rookie team... (Y)

You lost to the spurs with the lakers like that?!???!? You suck!!!!

J/K but I played a season one time with last year roster and went like 49-3, I figured it was time to start a franchise with a sorry team just so it would be a challenge.

I have been usin the Lakers sine 89, so it's bad now that I can't even play against my friends with them because "it's not fair to use the Lakers, they are like an All Star team"

Well, played another game, against Utah, got fucked up badly... 120-96.
It was one of those games... kinda like the earlier Dallas game I posted some days ago... I only didn't break & spanked my puter cos I thought two times about losing the uni work & stuff & the mp3s & shn files... If it weren't for that...

I'm not THAT pissed... I think I'll finish what I started... However, it's not funny playing the game this way... Utah shot 69% from the floor... It's impossible to beat any team when they do that. Plus, it's the same old story... I kept contesting shots... But never worked... Kept changin' from double-teaming Stevenson to not doin' it... Never worked... Kept changin' to crashin' the boards.. Not workin'... Etc et al...

Well, here are the stats:

Jazz:

DeShawn Stevenson: 40 points (on 19/22), 2 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal... was on the receiving end of like 8 alley-oops... in traffic!
John Stockton: 19 points, 3 boards, 15 assists, 2 steals... Flawless.
Andrei Kirilenko: 14 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, 5 blocks... (Guess on who)
Mark Jackson: 13 points, 2 boards, 2 steals, 8 assists... Flawless like Johnny.

Lakers:

Shaq: 18 points, 8 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal... So difficult finding set plays which make him be in good position to receive the ball...
Malone: 14 points, 4 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals... Got no lift on his jumper.
George: 8 points, 2 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals...
Kobe: 19 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals... Shot like 9/26...
Payton: 19 points, 2 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals... Plus his habit of picking 3 fouls in the first 5 minutes of play... and missing the 1st 8 shots...

I'm 6-4 now...

Stats for my players, from what I can recall... After 10 games...

Shaq: 24.8 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.6 spg, 0.9 bpg
Malone: 14.5 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.2 spg
George: 8.5 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 3.4 apg
Kobe: 24.3 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 5.7 apg, 1.3 spg, 1.0 bpg
Payton: 17.8 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 8.4 apg, 1.1 spg

Man i know the feeling, when u cant stop the players that in real life would be playing well to score 25.
If ur having trouble getting the ball to shaq this is how i do it when jermaine is playing c or pf have ur set play as zipper ( wud work with other plays but not sure which ones ) then when u want ur inside players to get inside call a 3 point play, ur bound to get shaq inside cos i cant see him taking a 3, JO neva goes out at C or PF so it shud work, so it shud work for The mailman as well. :D

Man Tales I know what you mean about having "one of those games", it happens to me once in a while. Everything goes well for the CPU, and you can't do shit!!! In my last game although I won, Jamal Crawford missed like 4 layups! For fucks sake.

Do any of you guys actually get injuries? None of my players have ever been injured, damnit...

lol Stevan, you must be kidding... or talkin' about other bball game. Injuries never happen.

Well, I'm posting here just to let you guys know that I won't be playing this fucking franchise anymore. I'm fed up with it. I even deleted the files.

I faced the Wolves tonight, expecting to "play" a game... Well, Rasho Nesterovic and Joe Smith had 8 blocks in the 1st quarter, all on Karl Malone and Shaq. I missed my first four shots... all layups, with Payton & Kobe. Fox missed a wide-open three and a dunk. There isn't a fucking play to get Shaq and Malone to go to the baseline... I tried everything: motion, inside triangle, flex, 1-4 high, turnout, zipper, etc...

I finished the 1st quarter leading, 25-24... After the 2nd quarter started, Brandon started throwing huge half-court passes that kept finding KG and Wally under my basket... The build a 14-point lead in 2 minutes (!)... I managed to get Rasho with 4 fouls, yeah, on the 2nd quarter... Nevermind, Marc Jackson stepped in, Gary Trent subbed for Joe Smith, and voila!... Jackson and Trent blocked me 5 times during this 2-minute spurt by the Wolves...

My blood was almost boiling over... So I left the game and immediately deleted the fucking franchise... Deleted the Celtics one, too, after all I played just one game with them.

I'll wait for Andrew to release a new roster update, with this summer's transaction, then I'll choose a team (prolly the Bucks, what do you think?) and do a franchise and a thread...

Oh... and last but not least... FUCK THE LAKERS.

Tales well done for sticking with it even that long. I played this game on All-Star for ages, and started playing superstar recently because at first I lost every game by 20 on that level. Now I can compete on superstar but there are still times I get ripped off (which is just an extension of purchasing the game - you get ripped off from day one :D)...

Oh... and last but not least... FUCK THE LAKERS.

LOL can I use that as a quote? :D j/k
