Madden Crazy Incident

Hi, this is the administrator from Madden Crazy. I just wanted to apologize for what happened here, and to ask that you please stop spamming up my forum. I had nothing to do with any of this and I'm one of the people who get stuck cleaning all the gabage up.

Also, I could be wrong, but I only see one thread here about Madden Crazy. What you guys did to my site was way over the edge and completely uncalled for, and just to make it clear, I did NOT tell anybody to advertize on your site. In fact, I've told my members repeatedly to not do this and that they'd be banned if they chose not to listen.

I promise this will not happen again, so I'd really like to just pretend it never happened at all. Leave my site in peace, as yours will be too.

No problemo, I kind of agree we went a little overboard but I think we just acted on impulse.

You don't see any of the threads because our moderators (yes, ours are active) deleted them.

Ok, well congratulations on having active moderators on a forum with like 16,000 members. lol

But ya... so I guess it was worse than what I saw here. Again, I'm really sorry.

JebbaL, i think most people here got the impression that the Madden Crazy guy was somehow linked with your site admins or whatever. I think that now it's clear he's not, your site wont be spammed again.

Though i can't speak for everyone... some people are very bored.

Wow...we didn't predict this sort of response. You know the old saying...violence begat more violence. That was very dignified of you...kudos. I was the one that cleared up the mess by the way....and i would just like to clarify that i didn't even visit your forums.

That is one of the reasons I hate this so much. Whoever is doing this doesn't use his user name from Madden Crazy, so everyone always thinks that I'm the one doing it. "Advertizing from Madden Crazy???? It must be the administrator trying to get members for his new site!!!"

Yes, this has happened before. But I must say, what you guys did is definitely a cut above what's happened in the past.

This is like the third time I've had to register for another forum and write an apology post, and it gets old really fast. I don't know what to do.

So I must've deleted 20+ posts and 2 threads in my sleep when people are adveritsing, you've gotta get rid of all the evidence otherwise locking it just becomes redundant as their message is still getting through.

Anyways, apologies to you for having to put up with it, but on the assumption that the guy spamming that message here was somehow connected to your site I don't think it was over the top or undeserved. He was posting things like "On our forum you would've been banned in 10 seconds" which would give the impression that he was somewhat in charge. I actually found out he'd been spamming MaddenCrazy at a fair few other forums, if this idiot picks the wrong place (a half-life forum or somewhere alot of geeks hang out) you might have alot more than some spam posts to deal with.

The guy registered under taylorsbengals@yahoo.com, that might help you figure out who's doing it.

Well considering it was one of your moderators it'd probably be a good idea to get rid of him anyway. Morons like that won't help what you're trying to do at all.

I don't think I'm going to get rid of him, as he actually does a great job in the forums and I can trust him to keep things in order. I will, however, make sure that he finds a better way to advertise.

I made him clean up the rest of the site by himself. Maybe now that he knows what an annoyance spam can be, he won't do it to other sites anymore.

@ nets4life....i had 116 or so posts before being banned....all in one day. by far surpassing the flying tomato/phx4life's daily average.

i thought about spamming the shit out of their forum for what that Madden Crazy guy did but I guess i didnt have enough desire to post that much crap

Hahahahhahah! Laughing so hard right now Ok whoever posted the naked man please admit it....

What makes me really disturbed is not that someone posted a naked man on a forum but its that who would search for that or even already have it?

I posted some men in bathers hugging suggestively... I saw it done at another forum, these guys spammed it with gay porn and the entire thing got taken down. Although I don't know who posted the naked men, I only used that pic because it was like 1800x1200.

I think I ended up posting pics of trucks and some shit from Futurama just because the pics were enormous.
