Did anyone see it last night? Glad to see a new episode. I have to give props to him for that skit at the club and a new 2pac song came up. That was classic. Anyways what did you guys think?

The 2-pac skit was awesome. Dave Chapelle with his asian wife, back in 94.

damn if only i still had cable
lol @ chapelle's reaction to "George W" and then Tupac goes "George W. Smith"

heh i dunno how my eyes missed this thread...but yea..that shit was funny. Chapelle was on track to make a season just as funny as the other two...his stuff seems fresh. That tupac skit was only him turning an inside joke amoung rap fans into reality.

I was in maijor anticipation before, and leading up to the episode and I was not disapointed.
the begining skit (everyone pulling a gun on Chappelle) was actually funny the whole way thorough, I was saying to myself "Oh no their going to use that sound effect way too much now" after the second time, but believe it or not I laughed at every one
"I'm poor bitch!"

damn, i missed it

tnx for the vid
EDIT:great sskit

I loved the episode, seemed kinda short there were only like 3 skits and no musical guests or anything.. how many 'lost episodes' are there?
And what the fuck is exactly going on with Dave Chappelle that he can't just come there and host it? I've been hearing so much about Oprah, going back to Africa, etc. etc. but I don't know what exactly happened..

I think the excuse was the show was too much for him, he went to Africa to escape the pressure, and when he came back he decided he wanted absolutley nothing to do with the show.
Now he just does stand-up

Lmao@ the revenge one on that chick

That's gotta be one of the most viscous ideas ever
Wed Jul 12, 2006 6:52 pm
yeah I wasn't too impressed though... It was definitely noticable as a last-ditch effort from Comedy Central to squeeze out the rest of the money they can get from Chappelle's Show. There were like 3 skits in the whole half hour show.

It was much better than I thought it would be. I expected it to be a bunch of b-material, but it was actually real good stuff; worthy of being showed in the 'real' episodes. I hope that the rest of the episodes are like this though and don't drop of after a while once they feel that they got their audience swayed..
Did anyone else get bothered by how the crowd laughed their asses of at every single word Charlie and Donnell said in their monologue?

Directors always tell the audience to laugh really loud at everything
I was at a TV show taping once.

Well yea, but it is much more than I remembered Dave got. Seems like they're trying too hard to make up for his absence; But I suppose that is to be expected..

I just finished watching the second and third episode. And as expected, they weren't as good as the first one was. The second was nice, but the third one wasn't good at all (except for the Cribs skit). Hopefully they'll bounce back up again though..
