NFL HEAD COACH

Image

NFL Head Coach reinvents football gaming by introducing the first 3D strategy sports game that challenges gamers to build and manage every aspect of a football team from the ground up. A simple conversation system and an engaging 3D graphical interface allow users to immerse themselves into the lives of an NFL head coach. As head coach, you develop a team strategy, execute it on and off the field, and try to build a winning organization year after year. Your status as a coaching legend will rise and fall based on all of your actions as you strive to become the greatest head coach of all time. Behind the desk, on the practice field, or while wearing the headset on game days, take the reins of your favorite NFL team and lead it to victory.

Recently got this game and its not too bad. Was wondering if anyone else was playing it on the forum to see if we could chat up a bit and give each other pointers and such.

I tried it at my friends house but its not much fun if you dont like sitting on the bench and calling plays, but if you're a coach and like this stuff this game is for you. personally I like to control players and make plays so I prefer Madden over HC.

I tried the demo for PC and it's a pretty cool game... yeah i get sick of caling plays on the sideline, but the draft thing seems pretty cool

The draft is my favourite part of the process (along with training camp when you test out the rooks). I kinda like management games. Its a good alternative when you dont feel like popping a vein in your neck when playing with user controlled teams.

Also, there are mods out there to adjust sliders, difficulty etc etc.

Its kind of boring at first, but once the season starts it becomes better. The draft was deff the best part of the game. But there are too many "Office Hours".

I used most of that to hire and fire staff. after that was done I always simmed through that part to go to training or meetings.

I "bought" this game over night. So I started a career with San Diego and Im like WTF? Lorenzo Neal whos rated 97 in Madden is only like 67 in HC. Right now Im gettin close to draft ,simming all the Office Hours, scouted Santonio Holmes and Jeremy Bloom, tryin to draft a WR or a FS 19th overall. Resigned Antonio Gates to like 5 year contract (y)

You have to wait until training camp starts to get his stats up. There a range to his ability and if he isnt being trained he will play like crap hence the bad rating.

I drafted Vince Young and he was around 60-something and now I have him consistently around 83-85 before games. If you arent into management and stuff then it may be annoying to always be training and doing the little things but it feels good for me in the long run....makes me feel like I actually accomplished soemthing whenever I win.

So I played a game but I dont know where receivers are like I called Lelie to be my main option, but he's actually pass blocking, but Rod Smith is wide open down field and I dunno wut to press to make Plummer throw to Rod.

If the QB didnt see him the QB didnt see him  . Yea, youll get some busted plays every now and then/
Heres the download to adjust sliders and such. It can make the game much more fun as long as you dont cheat for yourself.

Are real coaches and their own specific strategies in this game? say the tampa bay's head coach is this white guy i forgot this game or is it your name controlling the team?

Real coaches are in coach now,but in carrer mode you have your own coach.

I just saw a screenshot from NFL Head Coach and there's a window titled "My Coach" and at the bottom it has the option to export to Madden NFL 07... I wonder what is this for? anybody knows?

Its to import your coach into Madden. You can use your coach on your team from Head Coach in Madden.

Not to bump this thread, but the games can be a bitch sometimes, ranging from at least 40-50 minutes. Not to mention the practices. I've already played an odd twenty hours and I've only played three regular season games. I haven't played it in awhile becuase I want to switch between playing it in Head Coach and Madden once 07 comes out. :)
