seriously, pull your cock out of vitale and the dictionary, the day perfect english is required to talk shit on a message board, ill come see you

Thats the best you can come up with?

I like hearing Dick Vitale. Some of the other guys get too boring and he always comes with his enthusiasm which makes it feel more like a draft...or a college basketball game. He makes good points lots of times and I also know he doesnt criticize much but I can take that. He's a personality I love to have around. I can understand why he would doubt international players because it is true, scout go watch them shoot a jump and a hook and next thing you know they go number threee when they werent even class in their league in Europe.

yeah man plus i sat here for four hours making a complex plan of how best to bring down the man who had verbally slain me on a message board and that was all I could come up. I feel ashamed of myself for not devising a more witty reponse to your own ingenius and diligent use of little smily people playing violins and requesting I take some English lessons, clearly pointing out to all who read your post of course that I am a complete moron and you surely are a genius, who has enough time to question the grammar of people he's never met on the internet. Good luck with that though, no hard feelings champ.

If TNT had broadcasted the NBA Draft it would have been a billion more times entertaining. I'd love to hear Charles, Kenny, and EJ sound off on draft night. I might've actually tuned in during the whole draft rather than playing NBA 2k6.

Agreed. Someone on nbadraft.net brought this up last year. Would make the draft a lot more entertaining.

I'm not a fan of him to be honest. Stephen A. Smith and Dick Vitale always seem like they're only capable of yelling to try and get their point across.
Like toronto has done anything in their existance to be proud of. Having the number one pick is a charity, not something that is earnt. And look at NY fans, they are real fans. They dont chase stars out of town like Tmac and Vince, and then hate them becuase they become successful in their new teams.
I don't really take offence to this, but implying that we aren't "real" fans makes me feel like you view Raptors fans as only lumberjacks that live in igloos, wrestle polar bears and watch hockey all day.
I think that it does seem kind of pathetic to upset at Carter and McGrady for leaving and having left for a fair bit of time, but at least they cared enough to know that they've lost some great players. I mean, those two potential franchise players for the Raptors basically walked away for virtually nothing, I'm guessing you'd have to be at least a bit frustrated if something like that happened to your favourite team. Raptor fans are just passionate (although some might not be too intelligent and say things that are a bit exaggerated) and well, the fans just first and foremost want their team to be successful and win just like any other "real" fans would.

Yeah Vitale is a broken record.
I wish someone would have asked him "So Dick, what happened to your prediction last year that Sean May would dominate the NBA?"
I actually like Steve A Smith...crazy i know.
Fri Jun 30, 2006 4:13 am
He only played 23 games.

But real fans are not Homer's. The thing is Tmac and Carter were more or less forced out by the backlash of the fans there and the organisation, and yet the fans hold a vendetta against those players.
I don't think all raptor fans are inbred canadians who live in igloo's, but 99% of them are close minded as anything, and always seem to be way too competitive to allow any criticism of their favourite team.

yeh i agree. i only tuned in until Katz reported the trade between Chicago/Portland. I don't like ESPN's expert panel. Bilas and Vitale have historically gripped the college players bigtime, especially when a high schooler or foreign player is drafted ahead of a college player. I guess it's understandable since they are NCAA college ball analysts, but it's nauseating to me.
with the exception of Anthony, that draft expert panel should have been saved for talk radio

if you hate dick vitale when he talks, you should hear him when he is having sex.
ill leave that up to your imagination.

McGrady was never hated before he left. Almost every game you'd see at least 5 "Come Back T-Mac" posters. He left on his own accord, and I don't hate him for it.
I'm not a fan of Carter, but I'm not a fan of the excessive booing against him. He basically said "Hey, everythings alright, I'm happy here in Toronto", during his charity all-star game, but just before the season started he wanted out, and his play showed.

So funny I forgot to laugh and type "haha" or "lol".
How would you know, you had sex with him?
Vitale and Stephen Smith throws a good point here and there but the way they shout their opinions makes it sound as if it is basketball gospel.
Greg Anthony was the only one tolerable listening to in that draft, imo.

I remember how horrible I thought he was when he just started but then gradually he grew on me. Currently one of my favourites.

See those quotation marks?
other uses of quotation marks based on Oxford wrote:Use quotation marks to indicate words used ironically, with reservations, or in some unusual way.
I didn't type "haha" and "lol" as a direct response to your lame attempt at homosexual humour, it was used to drive a point which unfortunately you didn't comprehend.
Judging by how you "analysed" my post, you must be one of those morons that use the same word to define the word itself e.g.
"What is measurement?"
"It's the measure of an object".

how was it homosexual? i said "if you hate how he talks, you should hear him when he has sex." I never said with another man.
I believe you were the one that brought homosexual into this thread.
Joey Jojo wrote:How would you know, you had sex with him?"
Im not even going to ask why you pictured that in your head.
if you had any imagination you could think of him having sex while saying all those crazy basketball phrases he says in the manor that he does it at. It doesnt even have to involve a man, but hey, if thats what you are into im not going to hate on you.
Sun Jul 02, 2006 10:28 am

Why would anyone even mention and relate Vitale's basketball phrases to sex, and even suggest the readers to imagine it.
Im not even going to ask why you pictured that in your head.
I'm not even going to ask why you asked your original question.
Oh wait, I already did.
