I got a 65%. Some of those answers are tough.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 9:31 am

lol Riot, the biggest pro-America poster here on the forum... I am shocked. I can't believe they expect foreigners to know (or care) about this stuff when American citizens don't.

btw I'm really curious to see which 2 questiions I got wrong... I accidentally closed the window before I found out

Fri Jun 30, 2006 10:53 am

I got 85%. But I'm a horrible anti-american liberal, what do I know about this country?

Fri Jun 30, 2006 11:09 am

Lol Riot calls himself an American.

I got 40%.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 11:16 am

I'm American but I don't know shit about all that stupid fact stuff. I never paid attention in American history.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 11:25 am

haha I guess I would have to take the title of the NLSC's "best American citizen"

Fri Jun 30, 2006 12:32 pm

Riot does that mean you arent fit to be an American Citizen now....?

Fri Jun 30, 2006 1:25 pm

I can't believe Riot got only 60% and didn't pay attention in American history.
I mean, he supports his country in every thing it does but doesn't even know its history. I even got more than him. Weird.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 1:30 pm

Riot doesn't even know what the flag he waves so fiercely stands for... blind patriotism at its finest

Fri Jun 30, 2006 1:35 pm

I got 70%. I just got out of Civics just like a month ago and i do good on Finals.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 1:47 pm

those questions are like Law 101 and Politics......and most people don't give a shit about either. It's a stupid test.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 1:51 pm

6/12 for 60%. I'd say not bad for an Australian who's never lived in the States or studied American history.

I like our history, but I don't care about about most of those questions they asked. I don't care if I'm not "fit to be a citizen", that doesn't mean I don't love this country with my life and wouldn't defend it with all my heart and soul. How much you know on a stupid test doesn't define anything. That's what I really hate about IQ tests and SATs and what not. Tests don't judge intelligence it just judges what you can remember on a specific situation or question

But, who cares. I wish I did better but I won't lose sleep over it.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 2:03 pm

i agree, these questions were really specific. I wouldnt be suprised if like most americans got around 60% or less

Fri Jun 30, 2006 2:24 pm

i am an american citizen...

in my grade school we were required to pass the constituion test (which these questions are from) in order to graduate

i scored 85% and it's been ages since i took that thing

Riot- you truly are an idiot. this has nothing to do with being cubs/twolves fan

some people just say shit to say it.. to sound funny or cool. but you really believe the ignorant bullshit you say. i pity you

i wonder who needs who more- the armed forces or you

 Absoutely, I believe in human rights and democracy so I am a flamming faggot! I want to avenge the murder of thousands of civilians that were MURDERED in a cheap shot because of where we are from.

Apparently I am an idiot because I support President Bush and his foreign policy. Apparently I am an idiot because I did not know what amendment number does not address voting rights. Gee, I'm an idiot!

Honestly, air gordon it seems like every post you make is insulting me in some way. If you want to insult me start doing it by PM or better yet create your Riot bashing thread so you can sit there and call me all the names you want. I'm sick of it.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 2:51 pm

i'm insulting you because you claim to be this patriot/will give your life to your country but you don't even know your own country's history!

and then to use that bullshit excuse of test's don't measure intellgence is just even more terrible. i'm not trying to be funny- reading posts like that... it's just really sad

as for these 'insults' you think i'm dropping on you in NBA talk... quit your crying. i like having discussions and have no problem being proved wrong/having people disagreeing with me. but the basis for your arguments are flawed- almost all based on homerism and it's annoying. just read the shit you come up with but pretend someone else is saying that to you

but hey- if you have a problem- you can always take the issue up with another Mod

Fri Jun 30, 2006 2:57 pm

I got a 60 because half of the questions where guesses

Fri Jun 30, 2006 3:08 pm

75%
I thought this was hard, since people kept on saying it was hard, but it was quite easy. Maybe it's because history is my favorite subject. -_-;;

air gordon wrote:i'm insulting you because you claim to be this patriot/will give your life to your country but you don't even know your own country's history!

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. So because I get 60% on a test about specific American government items I can't die and love my country?

SHUT THE FUCK UP

Fri Jun 30, 2006 3:26 pm

I think people were just expecting a 100% from you because you have so much love and passion for America...

They do have a point though Riot, but I dont think they need to be so mean about it.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 4:18 pm

(With some patriotic music rolling)
How can you call yourself a patriot and not know the freedoms you are protecting? How can you claim to want to defend them if you do not know them? How do you know what the country stands for if you do not know what it stood for in its history? Are you really defending your country or your own ideals? Do you truly know this country called America?
(end music)

I'm guessing that was the jist of what air gordon wanted to say?

But then again, could you be patriotic if you study history? You know, I used to believe in all that freedom bullcrap, thinking America was actually the closest thing to an ideal nation until I started studying American History. Especially after reading People's History of the United States, which changed my viewpoint on America forever. I'm not saying it was that book alone, but that book was what made me start thinking differently.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 5:14 pm

55%

Not bad for a German, imo. But as hova- said, you learn some of that stuff during English lessons over here.

Fri Jun 30, 2006 6:10 pm

What's all this crap directed at Riot in this thread? Are you guys his history teachers or something? Jesus, talk about being anal  there's professors in Britain who know more about your country than you ever will, does that make him more patriotic than you

Fri Jun 30, 2006 6:46 pm

It's because his name is already patriotic.
