I'd still like to see the current features fixed, improved and built upon before adding a completely new mode.

If they did it should be similar to the MLB 06: The Show one.

They should have it like MLB 06: The Show for a Career mode.

this is a great idea...me and my friends once pitched the idea of a sports sim to a group project of animators and programmers (including us) when we were in college. The project was to build an ORIGINAL mmo concept from the ground up.
We got out voted by a bunch of dudes that don't play/like sports.
ended up doing an RPG based on the story of Excalibur and king Author and shit...
The project got a “B”...loosing major points for originality...

in this you have to look after his diet and train him and not too hard becoz he will be fatigued for his games.

BBut it'd be weird trusting your teamamtes, what if you have a hog on your team? It would be hard to have team chemistry, when we all know the AI can be unpredictable sometimes
Thu Feb 21, 2008 8:06 am
I assume the controls would be similar to Off Ball Control, allowing you to force the pass if you wanted to get the ball and be a hog yourself.

Oh my god, I am way too happy that I ain't the only one to have this idea ! I wanna see it REALLY REALLY much, but you asked too much there back in '04.
My ideas about it are:
You create a player example with a name of Bryan Black. You can select his age from 17-20. You create his lookings, select his gear, his talent and his character, example I would do it like this.
He wants to show off a lot, so he has that superstar feeling. He loves to play a lot.
Unfortunately, he doesn't work on his game much. ( that was an example. )
So, I also set his skills, I have for example some limit for everything, example as a PG you can't but you blocking skills over 60 or so, to avoid super things.
Now let's say you are going to be in the 2010 draft pick as you created your player, you will have interviews, and you can't do anything about your destiny, if teams trade you or not, or which draft pick you will be, or which team, unless you deny joining it.
You can go to practise as much as you want, if it is the practise day. If it is press event, you sometimes get called for interviews and such, and if it is team event, you will mostly have to get your chemistry good with teammates. Offdays are simulated, and that's what you could role by yourself.
If you think everything would be with graphics and such, with picture or how do I explain it, well of course not, it would be with a theme like the menu or so.
You play as much as the coach gives you time.
You could select a power over the coach to give yourself as much playing time you would like and so on, if you want it to be like this, personally, I wouldn't.
You could retire only if you're over 30 years old.
Well, that was my idea.
Andrew, if you read it, please, could you somehow get my post to EA, so they would read it ? I think a lot of people would like this mode, thanks.

The producers do check out this section of the Forum but I made sure to include the concept in the Wishlist.
