Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Does anybody know any websites or anything I could go to download free Video Cards for my PC Games or do i have to buy them?
Tue Jun 13, 2006 4:33 am
That's all I can say really.
Tue Jun 13, 2006 4:38 am
I'm with Jugs on this one.
A video card is HARDWARE, not software. It is an actual card that you put in your computer that handles your graphics.

Don't lock this one, it has tons of potential.
I'm fan of ATI, so I would say
http://www.ati.com/ is the adress for you. You just go to the 'drivers' section and find the video card you like and download it/install it. If it doesn't work, you'll have to download a completely new motherboard. And you can always e-mail them. I'm sure they'll be very understanding.

Motherboards are pretty big files man. I'd think twice about that. But are we allowed to discuss that kinda stuff here? You can download soundcards as well.
And don't you hate it when your internet seems to stop working? You can fix it easily by going online and downloading a network card as well. I don't know any sites though for any of the following things. You might be able to find them on pirate sites like this one(Mods don't ban me, I'm trynna help him). http://pirates.bethsoft.com/ If I need to remove the link just tell me.

I hate to be the one to tell you K0bestar, but you've been duped.
The links that were posted requires you to pay for the downloads. It might possibly work for 30 days but after that you'll have to pay. If you don't pay, it will stop working or get errors galore.

Agreed, ATI is a great place to get your graphics cards. Also, I'd reccomend
Nvidia if you can't get ATI to work. I'm pretty sure they have a nice download section as well. You can always run a nice google search for graphics drivers updates - any will do, as they're all compatible with windows XP. Just download one that sounds good to you and install it.

Off topic: Jae, Aloisi scored in the 93rd minute, at least that's what it said after the match on SBS.
Tue Jun 13, 2006 4:51 pm
This is a screenshot of the result from the Sky Sports website, doesn't really matter either way. SBS also said the Netherlands were #2 in the World, so I don't really trust them anymore.

Joe is right. Once when i didn't pay, the software fried my video card. It's not that i refused to not pay, but i tried to uninstall the software because i didn't have any money, but it wouldn't let me. So bang, they assume i'm refusing not to pay. No more video card. Had to buy a new one. Which sucked. I just hope you haven't downloaded anything from that site yet k0bestar, cos video card company frying is common.

Wed Jun 14, 2006 8:34 am
$130 is cheap as hell for a 512 video card. $500 is an average price for a 512 card.
Wed Jun 14, 2006 9:05 am
But why pay if you can download for free?
Wed Jun 14, 2006 9:16 am
