Worthy??

Arenas, Olowakandi, magette do these guys worthy of a big contract?

I guess teams that think those guys mentioned will be a cornerstone of a franchise maybe they would but if they dont they're not worthy of such big and lucrative contract. I guess Arenas deserves a bit but I could be wrong. On Olowokandi, maybe some teams who want this guy would overpaid him to fill their needs.

Maggette is probably worthy because he averaged like 17 points a game.

id say that Arenas and Maggette would probably get it whether they deserve it or not, both are up and coming stars that everyone wants a piece of. imo these too dont deserve it just yet, make then wait a few years before handing out the cash. Olowokandi.... now this is the person that will miss out on the big bucks even tho imo he does deserve it, he might not fill up the stat sheet the way the two above do but he's a true centre... something that the league is in a shortage of right now, he's big and can fill up the lane.
iam not saying that Olowokandi better of deserves more money than Arenas or Maggette but the way i see it is Arenas & Maggette will get better and better Olowokandi's best years imo are now....so pay him.

I don't think they're worthy of superstar salaries, but I'd be willing to meet them halfway when it comes to agreeing on what they're worth. As jonas said, it's likely Kandi will get a pretty fair deal since he's a legitimate centre with decent numbers - like Nesterovic, there's enough demand for him to ask for a few extra million.

I don't think all those guys are worth max deals... Prolly just 6/7 million per is good enough for them...
