Intro

This is the 2005-2006 season. David Stern is still the commisioner and announced due to his age he had to retire at the end of the 2005-2006 season, but as going away gift he would make his best idea ever come to live at the beginning of the 2005-2006 season.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Going away gift
"I David Stern have had a vision a few years ago. I was allways affraid to put it to work, but now in my final season as the commisioner of the NBA I've found all of the courage I need to execute this idea."

"After only having 5 teams winning Championships for 19 years. I think what the NBA needs to give every team in this league a change is a 'Changeup'. Every team will release all of it's players and we will have a new draft with all of the players in it."

"Surely this will shake up the league for most of it, but it's also exciting to see the big stars play for other teams."

A few teams reacted shoking to the plan David Stern had suggested like the Pistons Franchise because they have had a good solid team for a few years and were Champion conteders this year. But you can guess a lot of teams like Charlotte,Atlanta,Utah agreed and thought the NBA needed a changeup.

This Dynasty will follow David Stern latest plan from the beginning till the end.

Welcome to YoG!'s LA Lakers Dynasty.

In the wake of the New NBA Draft there seem to be 7 guys really leading the charts for getting the 1st overall pick. Every guy has his specific reason and here is our breakown.

Kobe Bryant Image

+
-Good shooter
-Arguably the best Sg in the game today
-Good at driving
- A good defender

-
-Loves to hog the ball

LeBron James.Image
+
-Is a smaller version of Kobe Bryant
-Very Young

-
-3 point shot is not that good.
-Is'nt the best defender.

Shaquille O'nealImage
+
-Most dominant player in the league today
-scores at high FG%

-
-Bad free throw shooter
-is getting rather old

kevin GarnettImage
+
-Good shooter for a PF
-Can play more positions

-
?

Dwyane WadeImage
+
- Good drving abilty
-Good dunker
-Is young

-
-Not a really good shooter.

Paul PierceImage
+
- Good shooter
-Good at driving

-
-Is a bit of a ballhog

Tim DuncanImage
+
- Good fundamental player

-
-Bad at freethrows

My Vision

I guess having seen this all no doubt Garnett will be the first draft pcik he's just so complete as a player. second pick will go to Bryant third will go to James.

I don't think that at 11th pick, Kobe or LeBron wud be avail. GO with a big man!

Same with Matrix. But... good stuff with the fantasy draft and storyline. Lookin forward to the draft.

Fri May 19, 2006 6:42 pm

Don''t really think the Matrix will stand a chance of getting the first pick. I will put up the draft today I think

Draft

The draft was done and amazingly all of the teams had drafted the players they had before the shakeup in protest to the crazy idea of shaking the competition up by David Stern. There seemed to be one team willing to shake up there team, and as a way of protest they released all of there players and signed a bunch of role players to give an interesting twist to there franchise. This team was the Los Angelos Lakers. They also released coach Phil Jackson and signed 17 year old Coach Patrick Kaas to bring is some more fresh faces.

Roster

Centers

Oh goodness. That was just silly, saying it would be a fantasy draft and writing it up and then not doing it :?

Good luck with the roster of 'rejects', though. I did that a couple years back with a Utah Jazz dynasty... it was rough.

Fitzy will be pleased. Go Mercer ;)

Sat May 20, 2006 8:46 am

R u serious, sorry but Lakers are gona suck with this roster and if they make the playoffs it'll be a bunch of bs!(n)

Sat May 20, 2006 9:58 am

The first thing I noticed was Ron Mercer. Fitzy will appreciate that

New Faces in LA

The Los Angelos Lakers organisation likes to welcome three new faces in the La Lakers team and says goodbye to three as well.

Coach YoG! said: "We send Raul Lopez,Ndubi Ebi and Tamar Slay to Philadelphia in exchange for Kyle Korver and Steven Hunter and after that we've signed Smush Parker to a one year contract. We needed some changes to make our team better and try to get the best out of this group of Players."

Lakers get blown out by the Rockets

Los angelos, CA: Today the first lakers game of the season was on the line. In there own Staples center they had to face Tracy McGrady and his squad. Before you would say it could be an interesting battle but it was nothing like that.

In the first quater with good play of Yao Ming the Rockets took an early big lead of 33-11. The lakers did'nt do enough to fight back and the lead of Houston grow agian to a 33 point gap at the Half.

In the third quarter the lakers went on with playing bad and instead of closing the gap a little bit agian it grew to a large amount of 40 points. The Lakers gave up after this and took the time to experiment in the 4th. 2 players really stepped up in the last quarter and posted some good scores. Kareem Rush and Marcus Haislip. the final score was. 113-65.

wow the Rockets drafteed exctly everyone they had, what a coincidence :)

Mon May 22, 2006 1:34 pm

You didnt do a fantasy draft, you just used dbf to put those players on your team. :D

Mon May 22, 2006 5:40 pm

eventually I did that. I wanted a really worst team for myself but it's more fun to not mix up any other teams so all of the visitors know where which players are playing.
