I think him joining Barcelona would have been a soccer fans fantasy who likes Barcelona. Thierry, Ronaldinho, and Marques couldve been the big 3.

After the disaster that Real Madrid did with having a superstar line-up, I am more doubtful of loading a team with a bunch of stars.
Fucking Chelsea I hate it so much.

Ditto. They're like the Yankees of football, throwing money around to get players they want but not necessarily need.

Both Chelsea and Real do the same thing but the only difference being that Chelsea actually can play D, they allowed the least goals in the Premiership. Its mostly offensive stars in Madrid and they are nowhere near the top in terms of D so I guess I'm 50/50 on the superstar team thing.

I think the difference with Real and Chelsea is that Real do it to build their image and hope that the results follow, which is why they buy so many great attacking players, whereas Chelsea are trying to build an actual team with all the cash they have when you compare the players they've bought...

Real:

Figo
Ronaldo
Beckham
Zidane
Cassano
Robinho

Chelsea:

Wright-Phillips
Robben
Makelele
Geremi
Essien
Ferreira
Duff
Drogba
Bridge
Carvalho
Cech
Del Horno
Crespo
Maniche
Diarra

Obviously Chelsea's got more players, they've completely overhauled their team, but Real have made a deliberate effort to buy huge name players where Chelsea have gone for more the flavour of the month... it's not been until recently when Real have tried to fix their problems and sign lesser known guys like Baptista, Woodgate, Garcia, Graveson, Diogo etc which is essentially what Chelsea have been doing all along.

That being said, pound for pound Chelsea in my opinion are the worst transfer market players in England. They have a ridiculous amount of guys playing the same positions, and they continually sign people like Maniche or Smertin who never play (N)

The problem with Real is that they buy superstar players who want the hug the ball and score first rather to past to an open teammate. On the other hand Chelsea doesn't have those problems.Yes they do have superstars, but they are passing the ball.So there's a real diffrence betwen those two teamsThe result of this is that Chelsea has more wins. .And Jae, Figo doesn't play in Real anymore  .

He was talking about the players Real bought.

I think they move around the ball pretty well but they just give up stupid goals. They also had the 2nd most goals in La liga considering that guys were injured for the most part. Chelsea has had plenty of 1-0 games won compared to Real who will start well in a match and then *boom* the other team counter-attacks and theres a goal. They havent played very well coming from behind.

And Jae, Figo doesn't play in Real anymore  .

He was pointing uot who they have bought which is irrelevant to whether or not they play for them.
