wow
He should've just kept his cool while talking to cops, now his world is turning around big time. He won't be able to go to any college and will flip burgers for quite a long time. DRUGS KILL YOU.

I used to make fun of his age, but the GOAT was definitely a quality member. I hope he comes out OK.

in some kind of crazy altercation mike ended up pullin a buterfly knife on the cop and threatening him. he was too stoned to realize the cop had a gun.

Which leads on to

although his sentence hasnt been set, hes going to juvie for sure.

So what happened, the cop shot him? :?
no, he threatened him with the gun and mike surrendered quietly. hes already seen a cop use one....

Nick wrote:I don't understand why he pulled a knife on a cop? Why would you do that? Because he doesn't like questions? I think you've left something out.

Splash, are you that one of mike's friends who was shot?
im not sure exactly what happened, i wasnt there, but i guess the cop started raising his tone after mike talked back and tried to arrest him and thats when he pulled the knife. and no i wasnt shot, that was his friend darrell. i was at darrell house with his older brohter when it happened. all i saw was little mike kick down the door with 5'10" darrell in his arms screaming "call 911".

How did you find this forum splash? Did Mike tell you to post here?

Anyway I feel sorry for the poor guy. Tell him that he needs to straighten up, because all though his father is dead, I'm sure his father would not want him to turn into the type of guy he seems to be heading towards. Juvie might be good for him right now, it'll give him time to think.

Sat May 13, 2006 6:11 am

Sad, I never got to really know GOAT (or a lot of people on here....). Let him know we wish him the best though.

Sat May 13, 2006 6:37 am

WTH, when I first read it, I kinda thought of it as GOAT, but I never thought it would actually be him. I wish him well and I hope he can really change his life around, I'm just glad he didn't seriously get hurt and get killed or anything like that.

Sat May 13, 2006 8:32 am

it's disappointing to see so much potential being wasted, but ah well, it's his life, he can still turn it around....I guess he didn't take on board much of what we all said....I guess his hatred for the police from his past came back to haunt him :|

Sat May 13, 2006 8:43 am

Im disappointed as well to see a young kid like GOAT get sent to juvy.
I can't say I know how you feel but I know life is hard and believe me, I dealt with ALOT of shit past years. But good luck to you and your family.
Hopefully you can turn your life around and keep ya head up.
Yea ... life is a bitch sometimes but you gotta keep ya head up.
I remember when I came into this forum, I thought GOAT was like around my age, sounded mature and all but he is really 13.
That really tells you how mature he is.
One more time, I wish the best for you and hopefully you get time to think while in juvy.

Sat May 13, 2006 8:47 am

just so you guys know this was definitely not something i would have expected from mike. he hasnt really done anything that bad in life and the first time he fucks up he gets juvie. had he not been high he wouldve probably kept his cool and everythin just like you guys sed he would. i guess he was just really stoned that night....

In Australia, there is a defence you can use for being intoxicated... not in America?

Seeing as he's underage and it's an illegal drug no matter WHAT age you are.... no.

Laxation wrote:In Australia, there is a defence you can use for being intoxicated... not in America?

There is a defence like that here. But it's not like it gets you completely off the hook. It can mean a reduced sentence.

And like Donatello pointed out, it is an illegal drug, so it may not influence it as much.

Don't take all this as complete fact though, I just know this from Law & Order.

too bad about juvie, best of luck to him and hope he returns soon...

same here i just thought it was some random guy attention seeking

didn't know him but it's still a bad thing to happen to someone so young and been through rough times, hope he comes out on the other side ok

did he actually do anything or only threatened the cop with the knife, i dont know of the laws in america and maybe i need to read the thread again

Sat May 13, 2006 9:46 am

The last thread he made was about how a friend of his got shot and he stressed on how bad it was around the hood and that everyone has a gun. Our advice was to be a better person and work on making where he lives, better. Ok. Why did he have a buttefly knife on him?

Sat May 13, 2006 10:22 am

i dont think he even saw your guys' responses to that last thread. he always carries the knife for pretection, if you went thru the shit he did youd want it too.

Sat May 13, 2006 10:37 am

Wow this is messed up. I hope that GOAT will come out a changed person and stop smokin that pot.

Sat May 13, 2006 10:55 am

People he's around carry guns, so he says. So he carries a knife? A bullet > stabbing. Protection? Get a vest.

Sat May 13, 2006 11:48 am

Damn. :o Can't say I'm surprised at this, seemed that sometimes he would act impu;sivly. Hope he turns himself around after he gets out. Keep us updated to see how hes doing.

Jackal wrote:People he's around carry guns, so he says. So he carries a knife? A bullet > stabbing. Protection? Get a vest.
hes scared shitless of guns and, stupid as it seems, thought wearing a vest would make him look like a pussy (which is kinda true, if he wore one when he went to brooklyn and people noticed it hed probly get laughed at all day and/or get his ass kicked). besides where we live no one carries guns, most carry knives.

on a side note, can someone do something about my username problem? i actually like this community, considering how much you all sincerely seemed to care about mike, and want to be able to post here under my own account.

In Australia - it can mean an acquittal of murder charges (they might be reduced to manslaugter though) Im really not sure if it applies to all cases, such as trying to stab a police officer... which is why I was asking.

And just to think we actually helped him feel better at times. If only NLSC could be a actual community people lived in sometime. Like if people want to get away from their real lives, they can travel to the NLSC community and have a good ass time arguing and laughing they ass off.

The fuck you want to get away from your life for Banks?
