just a quick query regarding the shoes currently on the market....what's with all the plastic garbage on them?!? I've noticed it for a while....for me, it just looks shite & cheap....is it the equivalent of chrome mags on cars or something....I dunno, I'm out of the loop, so please do fill me in

EDIT: P.S. I don't like chrome mags on cars, prefer stainless steel....guess I don't like fake/plastic-like look to them....maybe the shoe thing applies too....

The IV's are for my school basketball team since the jerseys are green. Season's over and now puttin em aside.
Bron's are for my district league as well as the X's.
Still rockin' the old school TMAC 1s which are used for just outdoor ballin'.

As for outdoor, jus wearing some Casual Jordans, and 2 different pairs of Nike Air Force ones.

Currently lookin to buy a pair of Air Max 90s for outside.

I just can't relate to people spending 100's of $ on shoes. In terms of wear they last as long as 20$ shoes.

i bought the new Tmac 5's off ebay in Red/White for only 50 bucks, a pretty damn sweet steal if i do say so myself, and they were brand new....

Got 40-50% every shoe from the Nike Factory so that saved ALOT of money.

i want some grey and red tmac 5s, or maybe VC 5.
ive got some reeboks. i thought they were called Rimgrabbers but i can't seem to find them anywhere on the internet. they are plain white and smooth with red on the top bit of the shoe

Hmm, interesting choice.

The 10/10 for me wouldn't be one specific shoe, but it would be a Nike/Jordan because of the superior quality, not a rediculous price like $160 and not too flashy looks (too much shiny parts, too much color).

Those Jordan XXI's or whatever are plain as hell.
