I might end up goinng there for Pharmacy but I think I'd rather Waterloo - Toronto is very expensive to live in and is incredibly huge. In 2 weeks though we are going to Wonderland as part of physics
so I'll give you my scouting report
Yeah, Queens is about 1 1/2 - 2 hours from Toronto. Where do you live Cam? I thought you were in Winnipeg.

Heh, it's about a 20 minute drive from where I live to the Corel Centre... err, ScotiaBank place, to watch the Sens. Near enough that my friend can work in the Parliament Buildings all summer.
QBaller, it's not so much transferring schools as it is getting into a faculty that's only in certain places. There are only I think 6 schools in all of Canada with one, so it's really like a school all on its own. The only advantage to already be going to the school is you are familiar with the surroundings, but it doesn't really matter since you are pretty much first year all over again anyway. Thanks for the advice though
Well I guess good luck everyone in the States who still has SAT's! Glad we don't have them here!

Why shouldn't people take AP Classes? Those classes can be transferred to colleges for credit , meaning when you become a freshman you basically have already taken Calculus / Psychology / English etc instead of having to bother with college classes. I know for sure if I had to redo 11th and 12th grade I would have taken more than 1 AP class , then I wouldn't have to take the crap known as calculus at a collegiate level where they make it extremely difficult.

it all really depends on each schools specific policy regarding AP tests, but at my school I got exempt from 1 bio class for getting a 3 on the AP test. I also got some general credit for a 3 in Euro History & a 2 in US history, and that helps in your class standing... I'm like a quarter ahead, so when registration comes around, I get a better enrollment window.
I would suggest taking any AP classes available to you... I was blessed with a good HS with like 15 AP classes along with IB (International Baccalaureate) classes.
