Announcement

The Utah Jazz have hired a new GM. He is Chu ''3C'' Halliday. He was asked where the 3C came from and he replied, ''all the names I ever bore in my life all start with C so that is where the name comes from''. He has little experience and will be monitored very closely. Along with Sloan and the rest of the Jazz organization, he is expected to do all he can to see that the Jazz become the premier franchise they once were. ''Achieving a playoff spot and personal development of our players is key on my agenda for this team. Most if not all players will be given a chance to prove themselves for I will not hesitate to trade the player who refuses to conform to my ways which are easy enough. I only expect hard work from all players and coaching staff and look forward to working with the Jazz now and in the future.''

Pre-Season Trade Announced

The Jazz acquire D. Milicic from the Orlando Magic for J. Collins & K. Humphries. 3C was quoted as saying ''Darko is a great addition to the Utah Jazz. He has a lot of potential, he's is willing to learn and I aim to ensure that he reaches his full potential.'' Darko may end up starting alongside Boozer or Okur downlow as he needs to see alot of playtime if he's to catch up with his fellow superstars. This trade gives the Jazz a total rotation of four big men. This will allow Milicic ALOT of playing time as needed. The Magic gain more depth in the C & PF positions as well as young prospects who may have untapped potential.

Pre-Season Schedule, Analysis & Roster

PHO@UTA
UTA@CHI
POR@UTA

These games will test the new roster of the Jazz. It will shed light on the team's strengths as well as weaknesses. No trades will be made after this but the games will help determine who starts and who does not.

PHO: This will test the Jazz's inside presence when faced with A. Stoudamire. Milicic will be watched closely in this game to assess where he is now (as in physically, mentally and see his level of skill in a number of different areas). D. Williams will be faced with S. Nash and this will be a big test for the rookie not to mention a good practise of what he is to see in the regular season.

CHI: Here it will be the backcourt that will be monitored closely. D. Brown will be started alongside D. Williams and we shall see how this fairs against BG7 & Cpt. Kirk. Milicic again will be monitored closely to see how he fairs against the likes of M. Sweetney & T. Chandler downlow.

POR: The main focus in this game will be again how Milicic reacts to a better opponent(s) (Z-Bo & Ratliff) especially in his new setting.

Utah Jazz Roster

Starting Lineup
C. D. Milicic
PF. C. Boozer
SF. A Kirilenko
SG. D. Brown
PG. D. Williams

Bench
PF. M. Okur
SF. M. Harping
SG. G. Giricek
PG. K. McLeod
SG. A. Owens
SG. C. Miles
C. G. Ostertag

IR
PG. M. Palacio
PF. R. Whaley

I want Okur to see minutes behind Boozer and possibly Milicic. Ostertag will be Milicic's back up at the C position. I may end up trading Miles & Owens for a much better SG and will look to draft a SF and C/PF to fill in those voids respectfully.

Sweet your up and running again, dude I would think about playing AK-47 as SG if you want Okur or Harpring in the starting lineup, AK can handle SG pretty well IMO

Thanks for reading man. Like you said the pre-season games give me a feel for the team. I get to feed off its strengths and work on its weaknesses when the regular season starts. Thanks again. :D

Thanks for reading, the thought did occur to me but I'd prefer Okur coming off the bench as he will provide an offensive spark off the bench. I also want to give Milicic alot of playtime that's why I'm starting him at C. Milicic also gives me alot of defence via blocks & rebounds. I also want Okur backing Boozer incase of injury or foul trouble. Thanks again and keep reading. :D

Thanks for reading. I would love to add some pictures but I have difficulty doing so. They never come out at the size I like and when I use fraps to take a picture it doesn't take the full page (I have to scroll up, take a picture then scroll down and take another picture to complete the roster for instance). Any help, advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. (Y)

PHO@UTA Preview

Here the Jazz have to contain Amare Stoudamire. He is big as well as quick and will take advantage of slower opponents. Milicic should be able to match his speed downlow which is something all will be watching out for. Hopefully Boozer or Okur can do some offensive damage to the Suns to match that of Stoudamire's. Another interesting match up will be that of Nash v Williams. Nash has the edge as he is a superb passer and will hit the open shot. He also has more experince. Williams is still young and has much to learn and everyone including the Jazz all see this. He is a very young prospect and will have a big impact on the future of the franchise. This will be a big test for him and will need the experience he has gathered from College as well as the guidance of Sloan to succeed in this match. Team chemistry will be monitored closely in this match up and adjustments made if neccessary.

Fraps
Just use fraps while playing, there will be a yellow counter on your right top of your screen, but it doesnt bother.
Than you just have to make screens, wont be too difficult, just read in fraps.

After that you have to convert the bmp´s to jpg´s, not necessary. but better coz jpgs are less big than bmp´s.

Than make your account at Photobucket and just load the pics up.

The post command for pics is just

Ask me if you need help !
