Let the next dynasty begin...

Postby Miller on Tue Apr 11, 2006 11:03 pm

I had a dynasty in this forum section with nba live 2005, but now here is the bigger, better and greater than ever: Miller's Cleveland Dynasty.

Starting from the beginning:

*Hiring the staff...

For the first staff member, Cleveland hires assistant coach Marty Bettman.
His speciality is the Big man, and the ratings are following:
Offence A
Defence A+
Athletics A+

We hope he will make an impact for my team.

For the second staff member, cleveland hires scout R. Lawson for a 2 year contract.
His speciality is Europe and the ratings are following:
Offence A-
Defence A-
Athletics A-

And for the last member we signed trainer V.Hoyle for a 2-year contract and his overall rating is C-.

Playing all games myself and the quarter length is 7 minutes.
ALso the difficult level is superstar.

The season opener has been played and the first loss has come. Cleveland won the first quarter by 10 points but then total disaster began. SO at the end of the second quarter Lebron James and the Cavaliers were down by 12 and the momentum was gone. Lebron James was totally out on rhytm and he was given no help. Only bright side was that some1 from the bench wants to get to the starting 5: Aleksandr Pavlovic.
Let's hope next game will bring a win!

SO here is the photo-recap of the game

Just kidding. Tough first loss, good luck in the future.

The second game was not more fun than the first. A big loss again against a tough Sonics team. The Supersonics were dominating from the beginning and they gave Cleveland no chance at all. Lebron was better in this game but the whole team is still playilng like a bunch of rookies. But let's see and hope that the next game will be better!

Yeesh! Here is the first win of the season! Like in the first three games, Cleveland dominated in the first quarter and winning it by 10. THen in the 2nd quarter the game was completely different like always. But in the 3rd quarter Donyell Marshall was so hot and he hit 3 three pointers. in the last quarter Lebron and larry Hughes played good. Thanks for the first win lebron:P!

Big trade

Straight after the first win of the season, Cleveland's Gm Miller announced that a big trade has accepted.

Rip Hamilton said: " I really like to become a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, because in Cleveland there are great clubs...khm... I mean fans. And I am really waiting forward to play with the young superstar Lebron James. I am definetly sure that we will carry the Cleveland team to the play-offs."

Im not digging the trade too much. Hamilton McDyess and Delk are not a very good return for Hughes Marshall. (N)

Rip scores 24, however Clveland loses.

Although the analytics say that my trade Marshall, Hughes, Murray for Hamilton, McDyess, Delk was crap I am very satisfied with the new players. I needed a better under-basket-fighter, because Donny Marshall liked to play more outside. Hughes should have been a great shooter but he couldn't show his activity in the first 3 games. But now about the game... First quarter was dominated by new player Rip Hamilton and Lebron James, a lot of and1 plays. But now to the most interesting part the 4th quarter end. Down by 8, facing the loss, 1:25 to go. Lebron makes a steal and there he goes for the slam. Subtitions: Luke Jackson for Lebron James, Aleksandar Pavlovic for Rip. Don't know what the coach is thinking but let it be so. Anyway pavlovic made the key shot and ANdriusevicius'es AND1 took us to overtime. Overtime was dominated by NewYork guards: Stevie Franchise and Starbury. ANyway a good game and a nice debut for RIp, McDyess, Delk.

Mr. Clutchshot Martynas ANdriusevivius got injured but it won't cause him to miss any games:)

Good team work carries Cleveland to win

Everyone played great and had good numbers. All game long Cleveland dominated. Guards were good today and forwards even better:) Great win.
