Just felt like talking about some baseball(I am not crazy ok).
Hope the Yanks win it all this year.
Anyways, the lowlight of the first few days was the syringe incident with Barry Bonds. That was just very sad.
For those who dont know

It was just a really disturbing atmosphere, everything from the sign they held up, to the boos.
Anyways..
The highlight for me was the 15-2 ass-kicking the Yankees handed out and A-Rod's grand slam. Makes me all moist.
Anyways guys, who are you rooting for this season and what are your expections?

GO JAYS GO
Take one guess who I'm rooting for. Best moment so far was the Wedding Prank.

Jays beat my Twins today and Johan Cytana pitched awfully. The only good things I saw was Shannon Stewart and Juan Rincon.

Being a Yanks fan is like being the fan of the bus vs a retarded kid...pathetic. Brew Crew 2 and 0.

lmao, the moment they shot this picture makes the syringe sorta look like it was photoshopped there, with the needle getting stuck to his arm.

Its just crazy what that guy goes through (innocent or not). The league needs to take steps to protect this guy. I know it sounds like special attention but its no like he isnt a special case. Even with the investigation they got going everybody knows who the main focus is, just look at the timing of it all. Its just very sad. I woulda probably killed myself already.

Chicago White Sox- repeat as World Series Champs or bust
Mon Apr 10, 2006 9:49 pm
White Sox didn't get off to a good start but I would be surprised if that team missed the playoffs. Some argue this year's team is better than last year's team...the acquisition of Thome helped , surprising he's not on the DL yet , but as long as he's healthy and hitting home runs ,
My 2nd favorite team behind the Baltimore Orioles is the New York Yankees , who also have not gotten off to a great start. They did , however , play good teams in Oakland and Anaheim , hopefully the Yankees will get back to winning ways. They do play Kansas City though , who is 3-3.

I dont get baseball... do people in USA actually find it interesting, or is sort of a boring sport

Baseball owns, Laxation.
Minnesota Twins: "We're commin', we're commin'!"

That's what makes baseball interesting. Despite it's boring pace, people still find it enjoyable. That's the mystery of it.

try and hit a ball coming at you at 80-100 mph and some with pitches having movement on the ball. go out there an hit that. baseball is alot of a 1 on 1 matchup at the plate. Watching guys like Arod vs Schilling in September is what baseball is all about.
Tue Apr 11, 2006 9:51 am
I would find baseball enjoyable if i was playing it, but if I was watching it, meh.
Maybe I should have said "Baseball is boring as a spectator sport."
baseball is alot of a 1 on 1 matchup at the plate
If I wanted a 1-on-1 match-up sport I would just watch tennis, table tennis, or billiards, or even a ballhog player in the NBA.

It's a fun game that you can sit back, relax and do some homework while watching it. I love the web gems and the power. It's a very entertaining game to play and to watch.
Tue Apr 11, 2006 9:56 am
Personally I think it's fun to play, absolutely beyond horrific to watch. Then again, I do like cricket.
Tue Apr 11, 2006 10:01 am
Good point Jae. I'm also hypnotized while watching cricket even though I know next to nothing about it, but I'm here bashing about how baseball is a boring spectator sport when cricket and baseball is similar in some aspects. Personal preferences I guess.
Tue Apr 11, 2006 6:08 pm
plz dont insult baseball by comparing it to cricket.
Tue Apr 11, 2006 6:25 pm
Cricket is a better sport. If anyone disagrees go and write a note with invisible ink, made from the anabolic steroid your favourite player is taking this week.
Tue Apr 11, 2006 6:29 pm
Cricket sucks. Baseball is fun to see how far the HR's are and the web gems and ohh nevermind. You guys who like cricket dont know what im talkin about.

Its fun to see guys hit 6s all day in cricket. Unfortunately the 'all day' part cannot be stressed enough.
