PF K.Martin (80 6'9" 234lbs 5 years pro)
SF C.Anthony (86 6'8" 220lbs 2 years pro)
SG J.Hodge (63 6'7" 210lbs Rookie)
PG A.Miller (74 6'2" 200lbs 6 years pro)

Reserves

PG E.Boykins (74 5'5" 133lbs 7 years pro)
C Nene (70 6'11" 260lbs 3 years pro)
SF D.Johnson (69 6'9" 201lbs 4 years pro)
SG R.Patterson (68 6'5" 224lbs 7 years pro)
PG H.Eisley (65 6'2" 180lbs 11 years pro)
PF E.Najera (64 6'8" 235lbs 5 years pro)
SG G.Buckner (63 6'4" 210lbs 7 years pro)

Injured Reserves

PF R.Evans (61 6'8" 245lbs 3 years pro)
C F.Elson (58 7'0" 235lbs 2 years pro)
PF L.Kleiza (56 6'8" 245lbs Rookie)

G.M's Two Cents: No 3 point shooters at all in the squad let alone the starting five, will look to trade for a good shooting guard who is very capable of knocking down the 3 pointers. Will only trade the bench players unless a huge trade is on offer. Shooting guards in mind are Stephen Jackson, Ben Gordon, Quentin Richardson and Martell Webster.

any ideas?

Nice start dude, id say go for Webster, he wont be too hard to get plus hes young so he can grow with Melo.

I might have already asked you, but what part of NZ are you from?

EDIT: Haha it says Auckland in your Location :wall: well what school then?

Denver Nuggets vs New York Knicks

Triple overtime thriller in Madison Square Garden

Denver Nuggets 170
New York Knicks 160

ImageImageImageImage

Perhaps the most exciting season opening game for the Denver Nuggets in NBA history. A triple overtime victory with two players in the 50's. At the end of the third quarter im sure most Knicks fans thaught the game was in the bag but along came Mr Anthony. Carmello added 14 of his 27 points in the final quarter along with the long 3 pointer to send the game into overtime with 0.1 seconds on the clock. When Carmello Anthony left the game with a suspected back injury and Kenyon Martin fouled out early in overtime, Denver's hopes were vanishing with Stephon Marbury hitting shots with ease. But an outstanding effort from new Nugget Ben Gordon carried the game into 2nd overtime then into 3rd overtime. His amazing 58 points was enough to gain a ten point lead and eventually the game. His driving layups and long range shooting overshadowed the great effort of Stephon Marbury's 54 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds. Marcus Camby (15 points, 16 rebounds), Kenyon Martin (21 points, 11 rebounds), and Eddy Curry (21 points, 21 rebounds) each achieved a solid double double while Andre Miller was one steal off a triple double (13 points, 12 assists, 9 steals). Nene (12 points, 3 blocks) and Webster (16 points) played well off the bench in overtime for Anthony and Martin whilst Steve Francis was the main contributor off the bench for New York with 23 points.

Huge game, maybe you should try using some sliders from the forums, cos even triple overtime thats still a huge score.

Trainer: Carmelo Anthony sustained a back spasm. He will be out for 3 weeks.

G.M's Two Cents: With the absense of Anthony, Webster and Johnson will alternate in the starting lineup until a preferred option is obtained.

Denver Nuggets vs Golden State Warriors

Easy Riding for Denver

Denver Nuggets 109
Golden State Warriors 94

ImageImage

Denver controlled the game in the paint due to Golden State's lack of defensive big men. Marcus Camby (27 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks) and Kenyon Martin (30 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks, 4 steals) both had superb performances combining for 57 points and 23 rebounds. Ben Gordon (22 points, 9 assists) and Andre Miller (14 points, 7 assists) both had solid games. In the absence of Melo, Johnson had 9 points and 6 rebounds. Look to see Martell Webster in this position next game. The best performance from the Warriors was Jason Richardson who had 20 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds. Golden State (0-3) need to bounce back and show some class if they want to be playoff contendors. Whilst the Denver Nuggets look in great shape even without Anthony. There strength will be tested next game at home against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Denver Nuggets

Martin proves his weight in Gold at Denver

Milwaukee Bucks 111
Denver Nuggets 113

ImageImage

An outstanding game from Denver's Kenyon Martin saw him sink the 4th quarter buzzer beater that sent the game into overtime and if that wasnt enough he also clinched the 2 winning free throws. Martin's Player Of the Game performance saw him dominate in the paint against the inexperienced rookie Andrew Bogut. He notched 38 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. The only time that Milwaukee could score in the paint was when Martin was on the bench. The points were shared on both teams with all 5 of the Denver starters making double figures and 3 of the bucks notching 20+point games (Magloire 20, Redd 27, and Ford 25). This makes it 3 in a row for the Nuggets whilst the bucks are still without a win from 2.
