Hey guys, my friends and I were talking about it yesterday, and I decided to ask the community. What are you're favoirte Air Jordans, and why. I'd make a poll, but having 21 options is a bit of a stretch. Personally, I think the XX Reds are money.
Thu Mar 23, 2006 3:05 pm
Never owned one. Never really liked any of them that much

Wtf how do you guys even know what the numbers are... I've had 2 pairs of Jordan's but I wouldn't have the slightest clue what number they are.
Thu Mar 23, 2006 9:44 pm
I'll say V, because it's the only pair I've ever owned.

that's what I thought. I guess if they want to teach Roman Numerals in schools this is the way to do it.
Fri Mar 24, 2006 7:37 am
I hope they think in IV = four, not in IV = I-V (eye-vee)

Well I suppose it's just something you pick up if you like (basketball)shoes. Air Jordan's in particular has always been revolutionizing in basketball shoes, so I suppose that helps as well..
And I wouldn't exactly call it freakishly; it's just a design associated with a certain number. I mean you most likely know 20+ CD covers and what band it is that made the CD.

where do you people get these type of shoes. I dont care about what type of shoe they are, if they look nice and say either Adidas or Nike on them and are around $80-110AUD, i buy them
Fri Mar 24, 2006 7:48 am
Air Jordan III
Air Jordan IV
Air Jordan V
Air Jordan VI
Air Jordan VII
Air Jordan X
Air Jordan XI
Air Jordan XII
Air Jordan XVIII

Yeah but that's like saying "you most likely know 20+ people and what their names are based on what they look like"... shoes are a bit different, you'd REALLY have to care to know the number/make etc. Then again you make shoe patches so it's a bit different.

lol some of you are quite close minded
collecting shoes is just like any other 'collecting' hobby: stamps, baseball cards, comics, etc
if someone is collecting something as their hobby and there aren't that many of them, it shouldn't be surprise if that someone knows them all by number
anywho. my favs are the 2nd ones
Fri Mar 24, 2006 8:33 am
It's not hard at all to know the numbers of each Jordan unless you just start paying attention to Jordans just now. My top 3 all-time favorite are the III's, VII's and XI's. And if this is foreign to you, then just think about someone who collects stamps. They are saying stuff like "Yea I got the NY stamp, TN stamp, CA stamp" and you don't know what the hell they look like or anything. So if collecting shoes or knowing about a certain type of shoe ain't your thing then no biggy.

there are shoe collector's on this forum...damn..lol...
anyway jugs, go to footlocker, theres quite a few of them in melb n niketown

Forgive me oh mighty shoe God. I will appease thee by praying to thy $250 shoes in which ye all worship

get off my nuts. i don't even collect Jordans, let alone even own a pair since they are too expensive for my liking. but i can understand that someone can collect a shoe as a hobby AND be knowledgeable about it.
but hey i guess it's not cool and people that do collect jordans are freaks since you don't do it
