Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I've had enough of that fucking blackhole in science last semester, but still quite interesting, but it shitted me hearing about the damn thing constantly in the classroom.
Meh, I just don't appreciate knowledge like others

Each day I'll post an article from Wiki here, random in nature.
hate to say "I told you so".
I get the feeling Dweaver's only just discovered Wikipedia. It's only been the last week or so he's been posting links left right and center.
haha, I'm actually a sponsor. written a few articles myself, mostly about fitness and law, in the Greek version, mostly.
I usually research about wrestlers and bands on wikipedia instead of the more 'classroom' knowledge
Don't worry, I read and cross check the contents before I post it. And in teh end, one could always use the links at the bottom of teh page for more 'detailed' information.

I don't get it. On the first part, I was referring to putting it on the title not the first post as a joke. On the last part, I'm not debating on the authenticity of the articles since I trust Wikipedia and know that they have that tag thing to debate and article's neutrality. I was merely sharing how I use Wiki.
Wow, didn't thing I'd make a post this long for something that trivial

You still have a LONG time ahead of you. You're two or three more bad haircuts away from coming to appreciate knowledge for teh sake of knowledge. Then again, it might all go south and you'll end up like Jackal.

No sweat friend, just messing with ya.
Now, on to the topic at hand:

Overrated. Pretty much just talked in tune.

I never liked his voice. It was too hard, not soft enough.

No, that's what rappers do. And they talk out of the tune. Vocalists say that he and Tom Jones were almost never off in their tone.
Now, about the 'color' of the voice, that's mainly subjective, so you'll have no arguments from me, this time.

Just don't make Riot angry and this will not turn into any of those political debates

I like the idea...

As long as anti-Bush and anti-Americanism stays out of this thread we should be ok.
Since when are you the spokesman for our country. You prance around this forum like captin america. I try to be patriotic but you just cross the line.
This was to be said sooner or later.

I don't think he was serious, people should stop taking what Riot says so seriously.

This is a great idea I think, DW.

I had my hopes up for that movie, but that movie just plain sucked

Even with the subtleties, it didn't have an impact on me.

I didn't catch the movie. How is it related to Tesla?

The only scene I liked is the one with Alfred Molina.

The rest, as you say, sucked.
DW wrote:I didn't catch the movie. How is it related to Tesla?
Don't catch it. The thing is, in one scene, the duo from The White Stripes have a conversation regarding Tesla. The dude brings a Tesla coil to a restaurant.

Those little plastic things at the end of your shoelaces are called 'Aglets'
In times past, aglets were usually made of metal though some were glass or stone. Many were highly ornamental, and made of precious metals such as silver. Before the invention of buttons, they were used on the ends of ribbons to fasten clothing together.
