Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

titititit
Is it correct?
Tue Feb 14, 2006 9:47 am

I doubt it. I have no idea.

Startling I think, I got that one in an e-mail from my dad. I don't remember the sequence of words but I remember it having staring, string (thong) and I.
I have the e-mail.
Edit: Here it is:
Startling

String
Sting
Sing

Muahahaha.
Edit 2: Ok, I stop playing now, my brain hurts. I sat down & tried to figure out who was fucking that dudes wife so long, I thought that's the reason he turned away, as I said, I quit.

Muahahaha indeed.
Up next:
Hi! Ma and Pa told me I'd better say that all the two-letter words in this paragraph have something in common ...... or else! What's the common factor here?
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:04 am
I hate you, I'm stumped.
I said I quit, so I quit. That one was just a quitting one.
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:07 am
Hint: It has something to do with a specific country in the Western hemisphere.
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:13 am
They all have two letters
I'm actually going to try this one ... after I play Battlefront 2.
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:21 am
I'm guessing it's the US, that's the first country that came to mind.
2 Letter words related to the US could be state abreviations.
Massachusetes, Penselvania, Idaho, Indiana & Oregon? I don't get the Hi though?
Edit:
Hawaii
I'm sure I spelled some of them wrong, but that should be them.
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:34 am
Bingo!
last one for today:
The following number is the only one of its kind.
8,549,176,320
Can you figure out what is so special about it?
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:38 am
Its really long.
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:39 am
It uses each number only once, but that can't be it.
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:41 am
Eight, five, four, nine, one, seven, six, three, two, zero.
Tue Feb 14, 2006 10:57 am

Tue Feb 14, 2006 1:01 pm

Tue Feb 14, 2006 3:12 pm
It's in alphabetical order the numbers
Tue Feb 14, 2006 3:20 pm
oh, thanks for helping me feel smart
Tue Feb 14, 2006 7:20 pm
Nice.
Let's keep this up, since Jackal seems to enjoy the challenge.
A bus makes its rounds. Initially , there are 8 people on it, 2 of which are women and one a child.
First bus stop, 4 men get down, 1 woman and 7 men get on board.
Second bus stop, 2 women and a man get down, 6 women and a man get up.
Third bus stop, 2 men get down, 5 men and 3 women get on board.
Fourth bus stop, 3 men get down and 3 women get on board.
On the way to the fifth bus stop, a huge tree falls from the side of the road, and crashes on teh bus, killing everyone on board except the driver and the child sitting in teh far back. After that, the driver said to himself: "Damn, I should not have stopped in the last bus stop..." Why did he say that?
Tue Feb 14, 2006 7:32 pm
because the men and women made 9/11
Tue Feb 14, 2006 8:58 pm
I'm totally stumped. The thing says the tree kills everyone on board except for the driver & the child.
So how can 3 men get down at the 4th bus stop? Confusion, confusion.
Hints?
Wed Feb 15, 2006 12:04 am
Oops, sorry, my mistake. The bus is actually on its way to the 5th stop when the tree hits it... Something got messed up during the copy-paste procedure. Sorry if I wasted some of your time by this error. I edited the original post.

Alright. I'm gonna have a crack at this one.
*thinks*
*coughs*
*eats*
*thinks*
*farts*
Because, after the 4th bus stop, there were 13 women on board, which is an unlucky number??
