Warriors Sign Eddie House
Image

Today it was reported that the Golden State Warriors have signed 6'1 guard Eddie House to a 6 year 16.14 million dollar deal.

Eddie will fit in with this offense by taking a lot of threes and shooting many varieties of shots. Eddie had this to say. "I am very thankful that the Warriors picked me up. They are definately a playoff caliber team and I think I can help out with the team."

House has bounced around in his career and is lookin for a fresh start

Nice, good luck with this one. Eddie House will help out a lot off the bench.

Box Score: Golden State
Box Score: Chicago

1st Quarter
In the first the Warriors only limited the Bulls to 22 points and played very good defense. Jason Richardson had the hot hand in the quarter scoring from different places on the court, with dunks and lay-ups. Kirk Hinrich also shot the ball well in the first.

2nd Quarter
The 2nd was a very close quarter as the 1st was, too. Zarko Cabarkapa showed that he can play. He hit three 3s and had a rebound in this quarter. He could not help but feel overshadowed by Hinrich once again. Hinrich kept his team in the game when it was half-time and the score was 50-48, Warriors.

3rd Quarter
The third belonged to the Bulls. Nobody on the floor was defending and the Warriors lead was diminishing in a hurry. What was a 2 point lead quickly became a 14 point deficit for Golden State. But with the help of J Rich again the Warriors didn't fall too far behind. The Bulls went on a short slump as did the Warriors did in the 3rd. The score after three was 88-80, Chicago.

4th Quarter
A very nailbiting quarter which the Warriors actully played better. They outscored Chi Town 31 to 28. But, Kirk Hinrich played his best basketball in the 2nd half and helped his team win. The Warriors didn't go down without a fight, though. With five minutes left in the game the Warriors turned to Mike Dunleavy to turn it up. He made 4 of his 5 threes in the fourth and shot with extreme consistancy. With 29 seconds left in the game, the score was knotted up at 111-111 and the Bulls had the ball for the final shot. They passed around to look for the best shot and found it with a wide open Luol Deng in the corner. He drained the shot with 5.6 seconds left. Golden State called a timeout and worked up a play. Baron Davis got the inbounds pass and penitrated to the basket. He dished it out to Dunleavy for a open three and it clanked off the back rim. Time expired and the Bulls won 114-111.

Wow, you even took pictures! I'm impressed with the effort!

Close game...I'd probably prefer Baron shooting the last 3 though, or even Fisher over Dunleavy.
