I like Hulk this way. At least I can take this guy seriously. The original one seems like the typical dumb brute although they tried to give him more character later on.

They have some series of comics where various super hero's wives are murdered, and you follow them as they deal with it. In the first one, the guys wife was raped and killed

Oh yeah, that was a fun series. It was pretty wacky but easy to relate to because of the setting
