The main problem with Norton Anti-Virus and Internet Security is that it gets overzealous in its protection, usually preventing web pages from displaying properly (especially secure sites) and often blocks access to the mail server (a very common problem I deal with at work). There are workarounds but they're a nuisance.

To guys who use Zone Alarm only. It prevents from people to spy your PC and it's not antivirus program. You should get one of those as well.

Never heard of it until this thread, so no. I've only ever used VET and for the last three years Norton Internet Security.

I use Norton as an Anti-Virus.
I use Blackice as a firewall best you can get

Which goes to show you didn't/don't know that ZoneAlarm is also an antivirus software. Sure, it is a standalone firewall, but it comes in an antivirus bundle aswell.

either you haven't used ZA in a long time or you still using an extremely outdated version.

I jsust think that it doesn't do antivirus protection as well as classic antivirus programs. But as for firewall, there's no better thing as ZA.

That's not what came out of your initial post, you didn't know it had antivirus. Now you're implying you did, you just prefer other programs over ZA's antivirus.

I didn't know ZA came with anti-virus either, but as a firewall, maybe it was ages ago but I had problems with it crashing. Maybe I'll give it another try just to boost up my security.
