I joined cause i love the patches and the NBA discasions and all the other stuff.

I was looking at some NBA Live pics in google and one of them led me to this site. The pic was of a dynasty (X's Bobcats Dynasty for 05 to be exact) and I stayed in the Dynasty section for a pretty long time (eventually starting my own). After a while I found out about the General and NBA sections and...well...the rest is history.

I think I was on EAsports.com boards and I was one of the best online players in the nation on PS2. At one while, I was in the top 3 and that was in Live 04. Then I saw someone post something about this site on there and after that I joined.

I was checking out the EA boards for Live 03 in late 02 and was linked to .org, from .org I heard about "the evil that is the NLSC" and I figured I hated it too. Then I joined in....check beside my post...February or March of 03 and didn't think it was that bad.

I was playing online with Live 03 when someone told me about nba-live.com. I checked out the site for patches and not much later found .org. I continued to regurarly check the site for patches and about a year later saw the forums and decided to join.

I found the NLSC back in 1997 when I was looking for NBA Live 96 stuff. I joined the forums a couple of years later when I was looking to get some more exposure for my patches and my site at the time (the NBA Live Domain). In 2001 I took over for Tim when he started working at EA, so I joined the current forum when I created it.

I found this while Googling NBA Live. I hung around the forums, and then finally joined to see if I could get into one of the dynasties.

I joined cause I was looking for a sports related forum to post on. Then I got Live 06... but I haven't really used the game forums at all... maybe i should.

Originally I was playing Live 2000 online and the opposition has X's for their selected player (as opposed to circles)... I kept pausing and asking him how he got his thing to look that way (failing to realize it was just a part of the game). He finally got pissed and said "www.nba-live.com". I quit the game (in the first quarter) much to his disarray and visited the site. Posted some techy questions, eventually posted some programs and then years later was recruited into general talk.

I posted why in my shoutout thread for 2000. I can't find it anymore.

Most of us can say that we were looking for NBA Live related stuff then later found out about the forums, started snooping around then later started to post more regularly...

I was doing almost the same only I was using Yahoo and I dont remember if I typed in NBA Live or something along with it, but this was the first thing to pop up so I went with it
