GM Bailey4mvp today pulled the trigger on 2 trades.

The first trade Sent disappointing Darius Miles and up and comer Juan Dixon to the LA Clippers for SF Corey Maggette and G-F Quinton Ross.

Miles originally drafted by LA as the 3rd overall pick in 2000 was averaging a disappointing 6.6 PPG and 6.7 RPG. “We are sorry to see Darius go but we feel it will benefit both parties if we go in a different direction” said GM Bailey4mvp.

Maggette brings to Portland a healthy 23.5 PPG average as well as 10 RPG and 4.5 APG.
“I am really looking forward to playing in Portland it’s a great young team, that I am looking to be a part of for a long time” said Maggette.

The second trade involved Theo Ratliff and Steve Blake being shipped out to Chicago for SF Tim Thomas.

“Its always hard to trade a veteran who has done so much for the community and for this organization” Gm Bailey4mvp said about Ratliff.

Ratliff takes to Chicago his 14.0 PPG average and his 9.8 rebounds per game. Steve Blake had not appeared in any games this season.

Thomas who can play the 3 and the 4 brings with him a 17.9 point per game average as well as a 6.9 rebound per game average.
