They're pretty common in certain parts of England. I haven't tried one but they seem nice.

i've never really heard of this. did you see the nutrition facts for the fried bar? i've had fried ice cream though.. it's when they dip the ice cream in a tempura (sp?) batter.. it's pretty good. you can only have one though, after that it gets way too filling.
