So what else is new, brother? He's got one of the lowest basketball IQs I've ever seen. It's going to keep him from being a top-notch player unless he corrects it.

No, they give up numerous picks to build for now, not the future. NY is the basketball mecca, and it's been a while since the Knicks have had a team that got out of the first round of the playoffs. Isiah's trying to do it too fast. I think he thinks that every year is the year, which is why this year's draft pick is gone. He probably figured that they have enough to go deep in the playoffs(I was even fooled into thinking they could make the playoffs this year) but turns out they don't. Now the Suns have their soon-to-be lotto pick this year, Knicks have no cap room, so all that's left to do is try to trade.
