if the finals are nets vs spurs, who do u think will win? who do u guys want to win?
the season series was 1 -1, the game the nets one jefferson had 27 points... which means the nets went out on a running game, so i think if the nets can fastbreak on the spurs and shutdown parker and duncan they should win. Personally i want the nets to win!

I'm not sure who I want to win...on one hand, I'm an Eastern Conference fan, and I'd like to see the Nets prove all the "(L)Eastern Conference" comments wrong. On the other hand, it's David Robinson's finale, and the way the Spurs have played this year, it would be fitting for them to send him out with a second title - and one without an asterisk.
It has the potential to be a memorable series. I don't think it will be a sweep like last year.

ya, i think it will be a good series, and there won't be a sweep. i think if k mart steps it up and kidd is precise in most of the games (i mean no 10 TO 1/12fg games

) and they run their offense well, they can win it. but i think the spurs have a better chance of winning. but i wanna see kidd holding the trophy and prove that team play can win a championship

thats what u say after trying to imagine the finels, but after watching duncan, there is no answer for hin in NJ, k-mart is no way strong or big enpoth to hold tim to even 30 pts.... and if u would have watche the SAS game u would see that they have shurp shooters, athletic shooters, high % shooter.... and TD will always be doubled teamed, he will just pass it out to high % shooter like B.Bowen, same with the speed og genobly and parker.....
sure the nets will be able to slow down their fast break scoring, bu once the ball in in the low block there is no answer!!

tho i'm not a fan of the spurs, i'd like to see david robinson go out on top, he's one of the best centers in history (he dropped a quadruple double

) so go david

I'm kinda torn too...I wanna see all those east= jv comments come to an end, but at the same time, the Spurs beat the Lakers....

i'd like Spurs to win simply cos they are more deserving (no not cos the Nets beat Pistons)
Spurs 4-2

the spurs are getting this one giftwrapped....
they faced a laker team without a small forward... even the reserve was injured. now they face a dallas team without thier best player....
there will still be an asterisk on this title folks....
watch, jason kidd will be injured next....
i think the spurs had alot of luck this time... i hope jersey runs them into the ground

I don't think there should be an asterisk - that's just not giving San Antonio their due.

I agree, there should not be an asterisk, injuries are a part of the playoffs and if the Spurs get an asterisk on this one then I guess every other team that has taken advantage of an opurtunity with another teams player injured should get an asterisk also?
If the Nets win it all, they should get an asterisk, because after all Chauncey Billups is injured and was not full str this series.

Please, Devean George and Rick Fox are not Dirk Nowitzki or Chris Webber (remember, Webber was hurt...under this logic, Dallas should have an asterick because they made it to the conference finals). Whoever beat Orlando should have an asterick because of Grant Hill's injury. All three of the Lakers' championships should have an asterick because the east didn't have a big center...
The whole asterick thing is just a sign of poor sportsmanship...the Spurs would have beaten the Lakers even if Rick Fox was chipping in his 10-15 poitns...they got blown out, remember? It doesn't matter...
Anyways, I think it'll be a good finals series, but Spurs in six because Tim Duncan is the MVP and is playing like one...
