NEW YORK, Dec. 6. -- Marbury again leads the New York Knicks to another fantastic victory in New York. Marbury showed off his crunch time skills scoring 7 points in the last 54 seconds.
Marbury scored 17 points for the match and 7 of those points were scored in the last 54 seconds of the match. Richardson came up big with 17 points as the New York Knicks walked over the Philadelphia Sixers 87-81.
The Sixers went off early with a flashy start which the Knicks couldnt stop. They ended up winning that quarter by 7 points. New York showed their flare and drew it up by the end of the half.
Both Teams were mainly equal in the 3rd with Iverson shooting a jumper to give them a two point lead. Once again the Knicks came out in the second part of the half to conquer. There was about 2 minutes to go when Iverson came on. Both Teams were equal on score. Knicks scored once to make the lead two by the had of Crawford. Webber getting the reply. So went on until Iverson had 2 free throws and missed one. The lead was one.
The Knicks got the ball to marbury. He drained the jumper to make it 3 points to the knicks. Iverson missed the shot on the other end and marbury ended the game with a 3 points with 6.2 seconds remaining.
Dalembert was the Player of the Game with 15 points, 19 rebounds and 5 blocks. Allen Iverson scored the most in the match with 25 points.
