||INSIDE NBA PRE-SEASON TRAINING CAMP: MILWAUKEE BUCKS||

Postby air_melo15 on Sat Jan 07, 2006 3:03 pm

In this episode of Inside NBA, we look spend the day at the Milwaukee Bucks training camp and coach Terry Stotts was very optimistic about the season ahead..
"I think we have a tough season ahead of us but i do think we can compete with the best in our conference" When asked what role would star point guard TJ Ford would play coming back from his season ending injury, he stated "We've talked to team doctors about him playing, and they have reassured and confirmed that TJ is fit enough to start playing full games, so we defintely have an important role for him"

ESPN INSIDE NBA: |[MILWAUKEE BUCKS SEASON OPENER RECAP]|

Postby air_melo15 on Sat Jan 07, 2006 8:33 pm

SEASON OPENER RECAP [MIL] VS [PHI]
Image

1ST QUARTER
TJ Ford coming back from injury and star Allen Iverson waiting for him was the most anticipating matchup in the season opener for Milwaukee. The bucks started off very strong but Allen Iverson & the sixers started of a rampage, drawing fouls off A.Bogut & J.Magloire quickly in the first half, and getting to the ring easily.

2ND QUARTER

The 2nd Quarter, the bucks cruised to a early lead and had a strong quarter espescially Milwaukee guard Michael Redd getting 3/5 from the 3 point line.
TJ was shown up by sixers guard Allen Iverson by taking control of the game and scoring well despite him lacking support. The bucks still getting in foul trouble in the paint while trying to control Iverson and a charging Igoudala who made it to the paint effectively.

3RD QUARTER
The 3rd Quarter was the comback stage for the sixers who fought back valiantly with, this quarter would turn out to be Iversons' quarter by shooting 7 from 12 FG, and dishing out 4 dimes. He again went to the line many times but only converted a couple times. TJ Ford started to turn his game around by drawing fouls on 3 occasions in the quarter. He also converted a good 3 point play from a foul from a sixers double team.

4TH QUARTER
The fourth quarter turned out to not only be the deciding quarter but also the highest scoring one with Iverson continuing his good game by finishing it up vailiantly with 45 points, but Ford showed people he could play just as good by finshing with a 27 Point 10 Assist game. Not bad for a player who had been sidelined a whole year. The Bucks ended it and finished the sixers off with Bobby Simmons OWNING Kyle Korver, with a 22 Point, 11 Rebound effort. Bucks cruised to a 27 Point opening night win.

PHILADELPHIA VS MILWAUKEE GAME AFTER NOTES

Postby air_melo15 on Sat Jan 07, 2006 9:14 pm

COACH'S GAME NOTES FOR GAME AGAINST PHILADELPHIA

-Reduce fouling in the paint (n)
-Mo Williams off the bench & TJ Ford starting very good guard combination (y)
Michael Redd leading from the fron like a leader should, nice performance (y)
-Allen Iverson, very hard to matchup on
-3 players fouled out in 4th quarter is definitely not going to help us, have to find a better player rotation
-TJ Ford & Michael Redd starting guard combination, definetly helps if they stay healthy

[MILWAUKEE 1-0] VS [NEW JERSEY 0-0] INSIDE NBA GAME PREVIEW

Postby air_melo15 on Sat Jan 07, 2006 11:09 pm

In this edition of INSIDE NBA...[PART 1]
We preview the upcoming MILWAUKEE BUCKS vs NEW JERSEY NETS game.

KEY MATCHUPS

ImageVSImage
Two of the NBA's premier shooting guards will lineup tonite against each other and as most guards who attempt to keep VC from the rim will notice, he has a deft outside touch too. A matchup problem indeed but to Redd it's nothing but a new challenge...
"Obviously, tonite im going to have to up my level of intencity on the defensive end, as well as keep my standards on my offensive efforts but like always im gonna play my game and do what i do best"
