Exactly. One of the greatest mysteries of all time. If I want to feel better, I do sports. An hour in the gym or on the hardwood is way, WAAAAAAY better for your mind and body.

Reliance and abuse is definitely destructive behaviour. But alcohol does have a relaxing effect, sometimes it's nice to have a beer or two (OK, sometimes more) at the end of the working week. That said, I don't think many people would drink alcohol if it wasn't for the effects as the taste isn't always pleasant, especially if you're talking about spirits (vodka, for example).

So are you drunk when you make the roster patches?

But no, I'm not. Unlike some, I stay away from the NLSC when I've had a few. I know what happens to those threads.

I once theorised that I dance better drunk but then realised it's not so much that I'm better, just that I don't care how bad I am.

Yeah when I lived in England it became the national drink basically. I quite like it.

Consider my hat tipped. The best I can do is an extra strong Screwdriver, once because my brother's other half-brother ordered me one at his wedding last September and the other time when my mates spiked my drink when I wasn't looking because it bothers them no end that I've never thrown up from drinking.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have tasted alcohol once. I once drank a little bit of a Jolly Shandy when I didn't know it had alcohol in it. I only drank a little of it becuase I thought it tasted awful. Really, really awful.

I don't know about you, but usually have a great time playing basketball, much better than with alcohol in my blood. Although everyone should try the drinkin' dunkin' contest (been there, done that and I'm still alive).

Alcohol makes me laugh and think out loud. Unfortunately i know what's going to come out of my mouth and yet am powerless to do anything about it. Fun times.

Alcohol is probably the only thing that will make me dance in public. Has to be the right amount though

the taste of vodka is simply atrocious yet i always find myself drinking it when it comes to party time. when it comes time to get drunk, it's always the best one to do the job the fastest. anyone ever try jagermeister? if you ever plan on doing shots, do it with that. doesn't taste half as bad as everything else that's out there.
