BY THE WAY, THIS LAKER TEAM WOULD HAVE CRUSHED THE 96-98 BULLS
LONGLEY WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO COVER SHAQ.... AND THE ONLY REASON THEY WENT FOR 72 WINS IN 96 IS BECAUSE THE 3POINT LINE GOT MOVED IN (look it up) JORDAN HAD A GREAT YEAR SHOOTING 3'S THAT YEAR... BECAUSE 3'S WERE IN HIS RANGE FINALLY....
THIS LAKER TEAM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO DO THE SAME THING CHICAGO DID, MAYBE EVEN SURPASS IT.... 7 titles in 8 years maybe?
no disrespect to MJ, he was the greatest.....

REMEMBER THAT THE BULLS WON 3, JORDAN RETIRED AND TWO YEARS LATER WHEN HE CAME BACK ORLANDO SENT THEM FISHING. THEY STILL CAME BACK TO WIN 3 MORE.....
IF THEY DONT RECLAIM THE TITLE NEXT YEAR, THEN IN 2005 FOR SURE
CONGRATS TO THE SPURS (i believe without the injuries, and a little luck on that last shot by horry in game 5, la would be advancing instead
THEY DID A GREAT JOB AGAINST A TEAM HOBBLED BY INJURIES, SURE.... BUT REMEMBER, THE ADMIRAL WONT BE THERE NEXT YEAR.... AND DUNCAN WILL PLAY CENTER, SHAQ WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ROBINSON.... AND HE'LL DOMINATE DUNCAN. PLUS HE WILL HAVE A SOLID PF NEXT YEAR, SOMETHING THEY LACKED THIS YEAR....
ANYWAYS THE POINT IS, THE "WICKED WITCH" ISNT DEAD.... FOR ALL YOU ANTI LAKER FOLKS.... SHE'S REGROUPING and will take revenge soon

and Shaq is the best...u know anyone who can stop that guy???
1- see that little button above shift, make sure thats off next time!!!!!
4- San An will loose Robinson next year, which means they will have a shitload of free space so actualy sign a good player not just say they will like lakers, so they will proberbly be better next year then this year with the old ageing robinson.
pippen especially is a TEAM player and would settle for less money. malone wants to go to LA as well... where will the money come from? clear the bench and send them all packing.... there's your money folks.
I guess we'll see next year then eh?
"The Lakers hope to get Pippen on a minimum $1.4-million deal. Insiders say 1) Scottie won't work that cheap and 2) Portland owner Paul Allen is likely to offer a $10-million, two-year deal just to keep him away from the Lakers. Similarly, the Kings are wooing every free agent they think the Lakers want and will probably offer Clark an extension, to keep him away from the Lakers."

Longley vs Shaq
Rodman vs Horry
Pippen vs Fox
Jordan vs Bryant
Harper vs Fisher
For the Bench I'm just putting in players that gets in some minutes (not garbage time)...
Lakers Bench:George, Walker, Madsen, Shaw
Bulls Bench: Kukoc (6th man of the year in '96), Kerr, Buchler, Wennington, Brown (defensive purposes)....do you wanna throw in Brian Williams (aka Bison Dele) who played in '97
During the Bulls run...Jackson used his bench...and gave players meaningful minutes.

orlando beat them badly
shaq is a much better player now, and kobe is damn better than penny
its pretty simple
ok so maybe crush is a little much, but it would go to 7 games, and if it happened i give l.a. the edge, i dont mean to say it'd be a sweep

the lakers have just as good of a chance of landing some quality help as the spurs do. best record doesnt mean best team.
the bulls had problems with utah my friend.... the lakers are a much better team than the 97-98 jazz
unless you forget, the bulls never faced a team with a dominant bigman and won, with the exception of the knicks, who drove them to several game sevens....
orlando and shaq eliminated chicago in the 95 playoffs.... if you recall.
even phil jackson has admited the bulls couldnt beat the lakers in seven, both teams at thier prime. perhaps not the lakers this year, but the teams in 01 and 02 would have given them their moneys worth...
kobe, while not jordan's equal, would do a good job on him defensively.... jordan wouldnt have an easy day with kobe
the lakers are getting rid of alot of thier bench players... there's your money.
