Yeh my main man! As I type, I can actually see the real Key Arena from here (well not really it's actually about 12 blocks away from where I sit) and so it's kind of cool that you're doing a Supersonics Dynasty but no Ray Allen  oh well...

you do have Lewis though so that's cool! But why Sprewell?

ALL YOUR QUESTIONS

TNTs reporter Kenny Smith made a special show with Seattles head coach Bob Weiss. He called the show All your questions

Kenny Smith:hello, basketball fans today we are here to answer all your questions about the SuperSonics. We are visited by seattles head coach Bob Weiss.
Bob Weiss:hello.
Ks:So what happened to seattle in off-season???
Bw:Well Ray Allen informed us about that he is very sad about the team and would agree any trading offer. Then we decided to brake the tradition that is that for decades the team leaders were allways guards. We saw that phoenix lost Johnson so Ray Allen was a great idea.
Ks:And what about Lattrell Spreewell??
Bw:Well noone bought him so he was for us.
Ks:You made a lot of trade talk about them
Bw:Well we lost a great shooter so Kareem, Gordan could do something about it.And Steven Hunter is bigger than Danny Fortson.Just Fortson was too small for a center 6.8.
Ks:well fans if you wanna ask something about seattle ask till the premiere game against Dallas which will be on monday.Head coach will answer them all.Good night...

Training camp over

The traning camp of the seattle`s team has ended today and they announced the official starting lineup and talked about the lineups` players improvement.

Image
STEVEN HUNTER
The starting center has greatly improved in his rebounding and passing.Last season he had very less minutes so this season seems to be great for him...

Image
AMARE STOUDAMIRE*
Well the new team leader had a great improvement in shooting and speed, also quickness and blocking. He will be more explosive this season but he will play more PF then center.

Image
RASHARD LEWIS
The starting SF.When Ray Allen left the team he is called the best shooter in the team so he started training more on shooting an he is really good.

Image
LATRELL SPREWELL
The new team member improved in his speed and passing, but we don`t promiss great game of his, he is getting old you know.

Image
LUKE RIDNOUR
This little guy is doing really great on his shooting and passing also speed and even jumping. He will be a great part of our great puzzle.

Nice trade for Amare! I'd love to get that guy on my Dynasty! Looking forward to seeing some screenshots of him in a Sonics uniform...

...*sigh* if it were only true in real life.... :(

New rules new chances

Today it is official.David Stern called a very important press conference today because he had to make a very important announcement.Stern changed the NBA rules.I`m talking about the number of games.82 to 29.Some people are very mad of this decision.NBA teams` court center are very mad of this because they will loose many money. But someone is happy about it.Like Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He is saying he is happy of it because all of his injuries will not be effective that much and he will have more time to rest. The same is to Grant Hill. But some of the teams are very happy.Like Millwaukee if they have a 12 game run it will be a season to the playoffs to them. Also seattles GM said this:"Well the new rules are not bad at all to us.We can win greatly 29 games isn`t a hard number to us and i believe that this year will be easier."Some of the teams wanted to leave the league, but it is just tittle-tattle.This season will be very intresting...

I know your from Lithuenia, but that is just insane reading it. I pray that Stern Talks better in real life. If not, the league is officialy screwed.

Coach interview

Tonight on ESPN head coach of the Seattle SuperSonics Bob Weiss was invited to talk about the upcoming season.

Jack Coleman(reporter):Hello Mr.Weiss.Tonight we invited you for a interview about the upcoming season. So could you tell me about what are your plans this season, how far do you wanna go?
Bob Weiss:Straight to the top.Last season proved that even a team which doesn`t have many star players can go far...So this season could be ours.
JC: Amare Stoudemire never was a center of offense. In Phoenix he played with Steve Nash and Shawn Marion. Will he be the main offensive force for seattle?
BW:Well i think yes.But don`t forget Rashard Lewis he will make a big impact with 3 pointers. We will use every player on offense.
JC:And what about Steven Hunter what can you get more out of him offense or deffense?
BW:Deffense of course. But we will use him both.
JC:Kareem Rush a great shooter how many minutes will you give him?
BW:As much as we need.He can be a clucth and he proved it lot of times. So maybe he is better in the 4th.
JC:How many wins do you think you will have of 29 games?
BW:20 at least.
JC:What do you think about Amares averanges this season how high will they be?
BW:23-26 Ppg, 11-15 Rpg, 4-7 Bpg, 1-3 Spg, 2-4 Apg, 5-8 TOpg.
JC:Who do you think is the strongest team in the NBA?
BW:It`s Detroit in eastern and Phoenix in western.
JC:How will phoenix change this season with Ray Allen?
BW:More 3 pointers and I think so...
JC:Last question.Your strongest opponent?
BW:San Antonio Spurs...
JC:That is it for tonight people don`t miss the Sonics premiere in Sunday, goodbye...

Hey man...I'm VERY VERY VERY impressed that you're trying to put up a Dynasty at all...with your ...as you may say limited English. I totally encourage you to continue doing your dynasty, I've talked to a lot of Dynasty posters and they've said that they're english has improved so much just by being diligent in practicing their english when they post for their Dynasty...

...I barely know a 2nd language so you've impressed me immensely!Keep up the updates going and I'm looking forward to your season getting on the way!

Like I said, keep it up...if you want us to help you out with your phrasing after you post something, I'm pretty sure that most of us would be willing to help out...that's only if you want ligustic feedback, like I said, I think it's VERY admirable that you're doing this...there's some Dynasty players out there that only speak/write in English and don't even get as far as you have.

I think having a Dynasty thread is awesome...as it lets you Blog the reasons behind some of your decisions you've made in your Dynasty...plus it's a cool way to get feedback before you make decisions such as trades and such.

BOGUT, PAUL TO SEATTLE

Image

The Seattle SuperSonics called a press conference to make an important annoucement.

The general manager of the Sonics Rick Sund said:
"Today we announce two NBA rookies coming to our team. It`s Andrew Bogut and Chris Paul.We made a trading deal with the folowing teams:Millwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Hornets. We traded Nick Collison to New Orleans for Chris Paul and Luke Ridnour to Millwaukee for Andrew Bogut.Let the head coach of the Seattle SuperSonics Bob Weiss present them."

Head coach Bob Weiss:
"We have acquired two great rookies. Both of them have entered the leagues draft.Andrew Bogut was selected 1st and Chris Paul was selected 4th.New Orleans community asked about this trade before a week ago and we aswered yes.The trade was offered by us to Millwaukee.Andrew Bogut will start at center position in the starting lineup.Chris Paul also will be in starting lineup and will start as point guard. Now you can ask me questions.
Press agent:Will the new team members play in the upcoming game?
Bob Weiss:Certainly.
Press agent:Is Chris Paul better to you than Luke Ridnour?
Bob Weiss:Right now, no.But I think he will be a great superstart in the future and trading him we guarantee a future to us, but also i have to mention that some of his playing abillities are much better than Luke Ridnours.
Press agent:Like what?
Bob Weiss:Like stealing, speed, quickness, awareness.
Press agent:What do you like most in Andrew Bogut?
Bob Weiss:Well so far i think he is best at rebounding and blocking. His deffense will be very helpfull to us.
Press agent:What do you see bad in Chris Paul and Andrew Bogut?
Bob Weiss:Well sometimes Chris loves individual moves and Bogut often shoots from mid-range and that is not for him.
Press agent:Is your team planing for new trades in the early future?
Bob Weiss:No right now, no.Thank you all for coming today i think we will show a great game in the opener.Goodbye.

Sonics win season opener

Image

SEATTLE SUPERSONICS WON

The Game

The game started really fast.Sonics scored 12 points in the first two minutes, but slowed down then Baron Davis knocked two three-pointers in a row.Davis and Murphy were hanging the team in the first.Murphy scored 12 points and Stoudemire did the same. But when 2nd quarter reached the middle Sonics started exploding the warriors. They got a 15 point lead and didn`t led it go till the game ended.Amare was doing individual moves very succesfully, Chris Paul hadn`t a great game his shooting was bad.Bogut got many boards.Danny Fortson was a surprise came in the third and scored 14 points rebounded 10 balls. He was having a great game.Lewis and Radmanovic were shooting very well. But also other team members took too many three-point shoots.Sonics made 18 out of 46 three pointers.Coach Bob Weiss was really nervous. But even the missed three pointers couldn`t stop Seattle they starting getting more points in the paint and mid-range shots.Extended the lead to 26 in the fourth and that was the end to Golden State at that game.Warriors lost second game in a row and Seattle won it`s opener.

Stoudamires carreer-high performances saves from 1st loss

Image

SEATTLE SUPERSONICS WON

The Game

The begining was great for both teams. They started scoring fast and succesfully. The shooting was very good so the rebounding wasn`t good for both of the teams.Seattle blocked very many shots, Dallas stole very many balls. The game was going a tie till the 3rd quarter. Then Sonics took a 10 points lead and started destructing Dallas players. But when entering the fourth Devin Harris started playing like never before scoring outside and inside points. He didn`t matter that Andrew was guarding him he was just shooting and shooting.Nowitzki also added many points.Jason Terry was doing the job too.But Bob Weiss saw what was happening and called Amare to the court. Then it was the end to Dallas.Stoudamire was shooting, dunking, blocking, stealing. He was just on fire.Nowitzki couldn`t stop him without fouls.Diop also was doing nothing on deffense.Chris Paul was really better than the last game, Latrell also woke up.Lewis made a few points.Paul,Radmanovic,Lewis all of them scored 18 points.Bogut added 10 points.Even Sonics made many turnovers they still won the game by the help of Amare. He scored a carrer-high 53 points and the same high 11 blocks.

Never fear Amare is here

Image

SEATTLE SUPERSONICS WON
123:121
The Game

Again, again, again.Stoudemire saves the day.40 points, 15 rebounds(that`s improvement), 5 assists, 8 blocks(how long will this last?).At the beggining at the game Seattle took the lead and did not gave it up till the last 4 minutes.Till then they were playing great just the problem is turnovers.Coach Bob Weiss says it will end, but what will it be really? If Stoudemire continues to play like this in the 4th quarter then wining is allmost guaranteed. He is the top scorer right now in the team, top blocker. The best clutch. He is a monster!!!Still i have to mention Chris Pauls improvement 13 points and 14 assists, but 11 turnovers isn`t good at all.Andrew Bogut 12 points, 4 blocks and 11 rebounds.R.Lewis 21 points 5/10 three pointers.Radmanovic again 15 points 3/4 three pointers. He knows how to shoot.Memphis Grizzlies` Gasol scored 29 points and nothing more?No deffense, no team playing nothing.Just scoring for stats.Well you can`t say that about D.Stoudamire 10 assists 21 points 6 steals. He is on a role.Memphis great team, but doesn`t know hot to finish games easily.Even they played well in the 4th it wasn`t enough. They need to rebuilt their team and to use more players...

Box scores:
Seattle
