Sucks his career night had to come in a blowout.
Thu Dec 15, 2005 12:37 am
After the loss, Brown said "we don't have anybody with a head". You know he was talking about Marbury. Stephon's response was, "that's Coach's opinion".
What a season.
Thu Dec 15, 2005 8:16 am
What exactly did he mean by that?
Thu Dec 15, 2005 9:12 am
To me, it means basketball smarts. These cats have very little fundamentals. The day after the Bucks loss, Brown was trying to teach the players how to screen, block out and pass at practice. When I read that, I'm like, WTF? Shouldn't professional basketball players already know that? OMFG...
Brown is probably cursing under his breath, "I came back for this? What was Isiah thinking when he put this roster together?"

atlanta's gaining ground on them

I'm not really mad , we're a young team and all , and I know the Knicks will eventually start winning. If I'm not mistaken the Bulls were 6-14 at one point last season . Anyways , Knicks game starting now . I want Grant to do good , but I want the knicks to win .
Thu Dec 15, 2005 10:37 am
Sorry to doublepost , but anyone auctoning for anything? I want to bid for lunch with isiah , So i can smack him and tell him to fix the fucking team.

I feel the same way.
And where do you auction?
Thu Dec 15, 2005 11:09 am
You have to call a number (212)-465-3900 . You bid on autographed basketballs , jerseys , a lunch with isiah thomas , or a game of horse with Walt Frazier . That game of horse is at 5,000$ already . and the lunch is with thomas is at 850$

people need to realize that just because miami from a few seasons ago and chicago last were able rebound from such poor starts, it's not as easy to accomplish like snapping your fingers
the bulls were able to turn around their season/keep themselves in most of their games because they played hard and had one of the top defenses.
what exactly is New York doing that will allow themselves to climb out of the bottom of the standings? that blowout loss to a middling team like Orlando can't help
btw just use the "edit" button next time to avoid double posting

Frank Isola(NY Daily News):
"....the Knicks play without passion, smarts and most of all, pride. The only thing Brown's team leads the league in is being booed at home."
Dude hit the nail on the head. Knicks are unwatchable - the turnovers are just ridiculous. Right now, they're a CBA team. Sh!t won't change until Larry Brown brings in players with a high basketball IQ.

He should get rid of the players with the low one first. I mean, a trio of Jamaal Crawford, Stephon Marbury and Quentin Richardson is your backcourt. I wouldn't have any of them on my team.
Sat Dec 17, 2005 10:31 am
i'd take marbury over hinrich for sure. the big negative though is his salary
crawford and Q would be great players to bring off the bench. though i think having Crawford is redundant since the bulls have enough combo guards.

are you kidding me?
hawks score 71points in first half
now leading 97-81 at the end of the 3rd
what the hell is going on here????
71 to hawks in first half? on a larry brown team? oh boy knicks are in a desperate need of artest now, this is gone from bad to ridiculous now. The more we lose, the more the bulls get happier cause of the stupid draftpick trade in the curry deal

Forget about Artest, Amp. Both Donnie Walsh & Isiah gave interviews on WFAN today. Walsh wants Frye, but Zeke's not giving him up.
Sat Dec 17, 2005 2:57 pm
I missed the Walsh interview, but yeah Isiah ain't giving up Frye.
I didn't like Isiah's train of thinking on the teams progress at all.
He should so be fired. Get us a new GM.
And our team needs a trade bad!! 71 points to the Hawks!! OMG!! Where's the D!?!

71 first-half points. And to the Hawks! Wow, that's just...great for the Hawks. They beat the Spurs, Cavs & now the Knicks

I'm ashamed to be a Knicks fan right now.

Wow. Even I know how to screen and block, and I play football (soccer)!

I will not watch another Knicks game till they win 3 in a row . After that , I'll watch .

Larry Brown never thought it would be this hard to coach the Knicks this season , he said Thursday. You didn't think it would be this hard , Larry? I mean , the team is extremely young and has few superstars. The only stars I see on this team are Marbury and Allan Houston...Larry , if you wanted an easy job you should have coached a team that actually had talent for example staying with the Pistons , or coaching another team that isn't filled with rookies and sophomores.

Nah man, think about the fans that are only able to watch about 15 games a year.

WTF? First off , Houston retired + If he was still on the team he probably would be sitting on the bench in business clothes . He couldn't stay with the pistons , they bough out his contract . and By the way , the only knicks that are rookies and sophomores are Frye , Robinson , Lee , Ariza . 4/15 .
and CK , I would be happy to only see 15 games a year man , maybe they'll actually play during those games , its disgusting seeing all these games so far.

you know the worst part is that knicks fans cant say "well back to the lottery, we going to get a good pick like Frye was" thanks to the bulls having the option to swap picks with the knicks..
