Speaking of Colin Mochrie, and in turn Who's Line Is It Anyway?, I also like Ryan Stiles for Canadians. I saw him do improv line once and it was hilarious. There was him and that Roman Danilo or whatever from that show Comedy Inc.

Agreed, the Whose Line? cast are superb though I don't think any of them do stand-up as such, just improv. But they're great at what they do.

That show is funny. They do a great job improvising. What's the tall guy's name on Whose Line?

I like Colin Mockery the most, but Ryan Stiles is awesome as well.

Wayne Brady is just brilliant, if we discuss Whose Line?.

I like all of them. Each has a different style, but they're great together

anyone ever heard of pablo francisco? a friend of mine got a video of him on comedy central presents. he's pretty funny
Fri Dec 16, 2005 9:16 am
oh i've heard of him. He was of the 'Three Amigos' (Mencia, Fransisco and Freddy Soto(RIP)
Sat Dec 17, 2005 12:08 am
Never heard of the Three Amigos. There's also this other guy, Gabriel Iglesias I think. Pretty funny too. Kinda similar to Francisco except he also makes fat jokes to go with the Latino jokes

Damn, it took 38 posts before I can make my post because I was trying to remember a comedian's name. Anyway, his name is David Pryde, not really well known but one of the funniest I've heard.
Also like: Harland Williams, Russell Peters, Ray Romano, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and a couple not well known guys that I'll have to look up.
I haven't seen Richard Pryor's stand up, and I haven't seen too much of Jerry Seinfeld's stand up (the ones I did, I didn't find funny). Comedy Inc. is one freaking hilarious show. Colin, the guy's name is Roman Danylo, and I'd say he's the funniest out of all of them.

Comedy Stand-up: Aries Spears
This is a great stand-up by Aries Spears. It's 20 minutes long and it's hillarious! He is a great immitator. He immitates Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Redd Foxx, Shaq, Michael Jordan, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenneger, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, DMX and Jay-Z. All those immitatios in this stand-up and he does them really well!
Take a look...

Do you guys want me to upload a stand-up from Freddy Soto(RIP), this is probably one of his best stand-ups ever.

Now? It sucks now. It used to be decent.
Emiliano, that Spears stand-up was alright. His strength is definitely imitations, and he didn't do enough of that.
Mon Dec 19, 2005 8:09 am
You're right. His strenghts are imitations. Without them, he wouldn't be anything
Mon Dec 19, 2005 8:16 am
Bill Bailey
Stephen Fry
Ricky Gervais
Peter Kay
Ross Noble
Ian Hislop
Rory McGrath
Phil Jupitus
The Twelfth Man
Shaun Micallef
I prefer more subtle humour, I don't really need the joke to be made as obvious as humanly possible then have the person use it 19 times in the next 5 miinutes.

I will be channel surfing and catch some of what I think is BET Comic View. I only see a few minutes of the current comic until he leaves the stage , it's pretty funny. Some of those guys on there are absolutely hilarious. This one guy was talking about how stupid people were for going into oceans to swim. "There's a reason hotels have pools , so people swim in them. If you swim in oceans you gonna get eaten by a shark" - paraphrased

Anybody see Denis Leary's Merry F*ckin' Christmas special?
Mon Dec 19, 2005 5:42 pm
I've seen it. There were some funny moments

though I didn't think it was that great
Tue Dec 20, 2005 4:16 am
Yeah, same here. It was very pessimistic, how the whole show was, but that's probably just Denis Leary.
I also watched Comedian (with Jerry Seinefeld), it really shows that being a comedian is difficult.
