I need help, I really want to know how to improve my left-hand dribbling, because I am right-handed. Dribbling with my right-hand feels normal, but doing it with my left hand feels weird, and it doesn't feel normal like dribbling with my right hand.
How can I improve my dribbling moves like the spin-move? Sometime when I do it, the ball slips out and sometimes it works very well, and how do I become a quicker dribbler, I mean dribble past my opponent?
The most important thing to me right now is dribbling with my left hand.
I don't have to worry about shooting or anything because I usually shoot like 60-70% from the feild and I take like 15 shots per game. My left hand shots sometimes go in, but I usually shoot with my right so everythigns good.
So Like I sed, shooting isn't a need-to-improve thing, but dribbling is, so can you give me some hints or drills or w/e to help me make my dribbling as good as my right hand and make my dribbling moves better?

That's what I'm saying, it works the same way. Read that thread.
Although I doubt you'd ever learn dribbling left, maybe you should start learning how to use your left brain half first.

What does left-handed shots have to do with left-handed dribbling? Shooting is 100% different from dribbling.

Apply the same concepts as the one in the previous thread. PRACTICE with your LEFT HAND.

nah dude
as if practicing dribbling with your left hand will make you a better dribbler. thats just plain stupid.

Actually , practicing dribbling with your left hand will make you a better dribbler.

In high school we would go though a whole practise every thursday everyone had to close thier hand into a fist and wrap it up with a shoe lace.
Also it was treated like a normal practise you miss shots you run your f%$#ing ass off.
I lost a ton of weight and can finnaly take someone with my left just as easy as my right an I'm a big man.

All you have to do is dribble the ball with your left hand. ALOT.
Try using 2 balls and do all kinds of exercises. Oh and do not look at the ball while you practice.

In both cases you're using you're left hand. Just practice, a lot, and you'll get the results eventually.

Anytime you have a spare moment to dribble a basketball, I'd suggest doing it. That's what Pete Maravich did, though he also did it during movies. You probably shouldn't try that.

I had a huge problem with catching bullet passes. I never seen someone sling a ball as fast as my teammate did. It reminded me of one of them underhand softball pitchers. I carried a ball around every where I went just to keep the feel of holding it. I think that was on some movie also where I got the idea.

I did a similiar thing to Mazz. I went snowboarding and 2nd degree fractured my pinkie....I know weak ass injury, but it had to be in plaster so I couldnt play let alone dribble with my right hand.
Now when I play I dribble with my left for the start of a game so the guy thinks Im a lefty, but then BANG i go to my right when he doesnt expect it!
This post was completely useless......

You hsould stand in the ready positio when you are about to receive a pass. It helps a lot.
