I don't really like animated .gif's, they fuck up the quality of your work so badly.. your idea is nice though. I'd suggest making the frame without the clip on it stay a little longer.

I completely agree that the .gif's ruin the quality of the sig. I actually like the grunginess, but the quality is bad, and I don't really like the text either.

btw,where can i download the road of zion video of damian marley and nas?

Maybe on a comp running on a low resolution it's a lot more noticeable, but the quality dip isn't really that noticeable to me on this one. Especially since it is really grungy.

Yea Mobb Deep is tryin to make a comeback. Can't say I'm too fond of their new releases though. Sig is pretty good though. Maybe some washed-up, outdated member will want it.

I said how in the sig request thread where you first asked.

But it's using the custom shape tool.

The Nas one is ok, I'm not too fond of it due to personal preference (animated gif, though the animation looks cool) and generic brushed background. Almost looks like he's taking a walk in the forest.

The Prodigy one is really nice, though, but that's largely due to the photograph I'd wonder how it'd look if you moved the text "Prodigy" elsewhere, like to the left rather than the right...

And as it is there isn't enough room for the text as it is on the left of Prodigy, and If I move him over the photo behind doesn't look as good, and you can see the corner of the...warehouse or w/e. Little distracting.

My only gripe with the new sig is the font and text placement as Cy said, but that's minor. I really like the effects you did to the background, good balance between making it grunge and not completely wiping it out.

It's funny, because I actually find the Prodigy placement on the bottom right distracting. I was thinking of placing it somewhere near the bright window in the middle left and leave the right side completely the way it is. I'm not saying it'll work, but it's something I'd try out. As FendeR said, I'm also not too keen on the font choice. Nice use of the filter(s), though

That's funny because I (and people at other sites) have said the text is great. This forum has the exact opposite thoughts on pretty much everything I do as everywhere else. Not that that's a bad thing or anything.

These forums are very strange when it comes to photoshop, when I share my sigs on a non-basketball web site, they don't like them, but some people think im really good. Lol

Seriously, I don't mean to be ragging on you, but other than a buttload of random filters and overused pattern brushes, all you have are photographs taken by other people.

I'm honestly intrigued about what's going on here, or if i'm missing the key knowledge that makes sense of this whole thing.

Different? He tells you the same thing: it's doesn't look very good.. That's because your sigs don't make sense, there no logical setup, color use, effects combination, text..

For example: you guys didn't like the animated Nas one, but really liked the latest BIG one. Most others went nuts for the Nas one, and pretty much just said the BIG one was too small. Yeah sarcasm I know, but there was a bit of honesty in that statement...I think.

edit: oh yeah, nbalive got in my thread (I'm not calling you that stupid name). Yeah, they were pretty much right about that sig. It's an effect that can look alright if you learn how to incorporate it properly. But you haven't.

Speaking of DMX, he was in The Hague around a month ago. I was at work but my sister & brother in law were in town and they saw him standing with a bunch of body gaurds.

The DMX one is very weird.. like the lighting and environment seems too artificial. DMX looks obviously cut out and placed into an environment that doesn't look right, and I guess by changing the sky blue to a yellow made things even weirder, heh. It screws with my head

I don't like the wall either. It just doesn't seem to fit. It just looks like a guy, a picture and some text instead of a completed wallpaper. Just doesn't work in my opinion.

Alright, I seem to be on a slipperly slope here with you two. Thanks for actual feeback. It supposed to represent that DMX's career is setting. The crack got to him. I just wish I could get to NY easily and just take a bunch of pics from angles that I like and are useful to me. When I can match something up the results are great (see: Prodigy and the second latest (?) Nas sig.

Anyways, I needed a new sig since that whole syndicate thing didn't work out. Marion is on the first page.

edit: When I put something on the board for the first time I notice things I don't in PS. I'll get rid of some of the pink. There's a little much.

I like the sig, doesn't really matter that there's (too) much pink and purple, it just looks great.
The wall... well, it doesn't look like you made it, more like someone who has been using photoshop for 3 days. I don't know why but every once in a while you seem to make some random bad graphic in between all your nice stuff.

Diaw wasn't shutting down Yao Ming when he was in Atlanta. In 10 more minutes a game he's doubled his points, rebounds, and assists. He's tripled his block output, and his shooting 20% better from downtown, with 8% better overall. He's a monster.
