Is it true that the xbox live for the 360 is going to be free?
I wish I hadn't modded my regular xbox I would have bought a subscription.

I believe everyone gets a cetreain subscription of XBOX Live for free but if you want to play with people I believe you have sign up. I think everyone just has the ability to download updates but if you want to play other people you have to pay.

Only certain games arefree to play online, some cost money, thats when XboxLive Gold comes in.

Same thing happened to me, except I had 4 months left in my subscription
