Woods has been doin suprisingly well. He can score, rebound and block very good. I am thinkin of puttin araujo on Wallace cause he is as tough as Wallace in the game and we need toughness.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. --Once again the Raptors lose and this time to the 2003 NBA Champions.

Rasheed Wallace lead the pack with 23 points and chipped it 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. 10 of those points came in the 4th quarter to finish the raptors off.

"We played good. Moving the ball around, scoring and on defense. Are team really picked it up." said Wallace.

His teammates were a great help too.

Ben Wallace was a monster as always on rebounds and ended the game with 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. Prince was also a big help too on the boards with 12 and added 14 points on the offensive end.

The Raptors had 25 fouls in the game while the Pistons had only 15.

"We could of had this game in the books. We were careless and made had too many fouls obviously" said Head coach of the Raptors, Sam Mitchell

"We played with alot of energy," Chris Bosh said. "But it's the same story again. We as a team screws it up some how near the end."

Richard Hamilton added 19 points and Chauncey Billups had 14 for Detroit.

Michigan natives Jalen Rose and Mo Peterson chipped in with 17 and 7 points, while ex-Piston Mike James had 8.

They didn't get the win but the Raptors had one bright spot with Bosh having another great game with 24 points, 16 rebounds, 4 blocks and three steals.

Spohomore Rafael Araujo was starting in place of Loren Woods and had a "good" game with 5 points and 8 rebounds.

Damn what a tough start, this is like the Raptors started the 05-06 season. Chris Bosh had a monster game! 24 points and 16 rebounds, good to see him playing well.

luvin' the player of the game cards....similar to the 1st Rookie Cards you put in my Bobcats' dynasty....glad you incorporated them into yours

as for the trade....lemme think....

Raptors get: Paul Pierce, Mark Blount & Marcus Banks
Celtics get: Jalen Rose, Rafael Aruajo & Morris Peterson

just a random guess....don't know who you gave, but you must have got Pierce and a PG, and must have given up Rose in the deal

RAPTORS AND CELTICS WRAP UP SIX MAN TRADE.

Image

On Wednesday morning, the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors have finalized a deal that would send :

ImageImageImage

To Celtics
G/F : Jalen Rose
G/F : Morris Peterson
C : Loren Woods

ImageImageImage

To Raptors
G/F : Ricky Davis
C/F : Raef LaFrentz
C/F : Mark Blount

"We feel like this was a good trade for both teams. As you can see, are team is struggling as of lately. I think that these guys we brought in would add a spark to this team and give us something in the win category." said Rob Babcock.

Jalen Rose was averaging 16.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists a game before the trade. "I knew there were gonna be changes since we lost three in a row and struggle for the last 2-3 years. I really enjoyed my time in Toronto but you know business is business" who said after he was informed he was traded.

Mo Peterson, a Raptors for his whole NBA career is now a Celtic. Coming off the bench this year for the raptors but didn't really give them a spark off the bench."I didn't really see this coming my way." he said.

The third and last man who was shipped to the Celtics is Loren Woods.

"I think this really helped out our post problems. We brought two guys, Raef and Mark in and they can really help this team down in the post."said Sam Mitchell.

Highflyer Ricky Davis was brought here to Toronto to give them a good scorer and a soon to be fan favorite. Davis averaged 24 points before he came to Toronto."It will be a big change. Toronto is a great place and this organization is great too. I am looking forward to playing for this team and doing my best to lead them."

They will not be suiting up against the game vs. Cleveland Cavaliers on monday night.

a pretty realistic trade....the Rose and LaFrentz contracts only have about a year or two left so they cancel out, but to get Davis and LaFrentz you had to take the burdensome contract of Mark Blount, as well as giving up talented swingman Morris Peterson....a good trade for Raptors (Y)

Thanks. I forgot to look at the contract and after I did I was . LaFrentz has 4 years left and Blount has five. It is a good trade though overall.

I really didn't want to trade him away but now we got Ricky Davis

Naw, Araujo is doing good where he is and with sending Woods to Boston am gonna work Sow hard to be a good player in this league.
